“The butt arrived and on time in good condition. My beef with this company is, I wished to add this but to my existing water but (same make and model) but they do not make or supply the attachment. John Evans”

“The water butt with planter is very nice and I have now 2 of them in my garden. Unfortunately the communication with the company was not as straightforward as I’d expect. The order was delayed for over 6 weeks and although they were very nice and helpful over the phone, no emails with confirmation about changes or indeed time of despatch were sent. Both times the item were delivered without any warning and left in front of the house. We leave on a busy road and it could’ve easily been taken.”

“I've ordered this butt before, but the green one, that one is fine too, been in operation for a few years. Due to the footprint of the green one, I decided to order another for a snug spot. The green one was out of stock so I ordered the sandy-beige one. Pro - comes with a good fitting fast flow tap (attached inside the butt for transit) Con - as there is a sump you cannot get 300 litres out of the tap Pro - sturdy and tough, a good plastic and a good lid, easy to on/off (should you need to). There is a removable internal collar which the lid snaps into. Con - they don't inform you about delivery and they use a different name to their transport company (who did ring the previous day but I thought the delivery was another order that I knew was on route) Pro - a fast delivery, at checkout it said 28 days but I received in less than a week Con - probably doesn't need wrapping in all the black plastic and clingwrap - perhaps you could ask at checkout if the customer wants all the plastic or wouldn't mind a few scuffs Pro - comes on a cute little pallet. I've left mine in the front garden in the hope someone steals it.”

“My order arrived in good time and the Water Butt seemed easy enough to fix up. Hopefully it will do the job, as soon as we have a decent amount of rain! Would have preferred a lid which fitted over the barrel. The disc is awkward to remove.”

“Initial problems placing an order for the 200l butt (using chrome, but no problem with Windows10), but prompt support provided. Thereafter, it went well - the butt arrived on the first day of the quoted range, well within the 1 hour time slot notified by text. The item was in perfect condition, with simple to follow instructions, and I had it assembled and in position in half an hour. I'm very happy with it; now I just need some rain!”

“I initially ordered the 350L water butt. Delivery kept getting delayed because of problems with the supplier. While I can see that the suppliers let WBD down, I feel they could have done something to compensate customers who waited 6 months longer than they should have. (And maybe find another supplier? How hard is it, exactly, to make a big plastic bucket once you have the moulds set up?). I reordered the 250L water butt, which came quite quickly, although it was severely dented in transit. The dent popped out and all seems to be well, but this was careless.”

We did offer a discount to our customers which was explained in the emails that were sent out. Unfortunately, the situation was out of our hands and I'm afraid it is not as simple to just find another supplier when it is from the manufacturers themselves. This was explained in our emails that were sent out regarding issues with the molding and machines. Sincerest apologies that the 250L Water Butt arrived dented, however, we would have happily resolved this issue for you, but we received no communication regarding this.
