“I couldn’t find where to put Code to save the advertised 15%. I emailed the company to ask for the 15% to be refunded and explained what had happened. I sent this email again when I received no response and I’m still waiting for a reply”

Thank you for your review, Christine. Having checked, we have yet to receive any communication from you against this order number. The discount code needs to be applied during checkout & before payment; we would not have been able to do this after. Had you reached out to us before completing your order, we could have advised you where to input the code; we cannot do this after the event.

“I’ve previously sent a review via TrustPilot, which you disagree with. So be it. Everyone has an entitlement to an opinion- which I fully respect. My prespective and context is that I was directly approached and invited to provide a review by TrustPilot.I honestly don’t believe that it was overly critical - just a personal commenraty on pricing. However, the response received is disparaging, in trying to “put me down” - and may well backfire. Sometimes -if you ask for a review, just live with it ! (My rating is based on the experience, more than the item). Response”

We do not believe our response was in any way putting you down, and we apologise if this made you feel that way. It was in response to your comments about the product not being value for money. We have copied this response below: Thank you for your review. We are sorry you do not believe our products to be value for money; this, thankfully, is contrary to most other reviews, though we appreciate everyone's conception of "value" is different. We are a UK manufacturer and employ locally; our margins are already very slim, so we could not reduce the cost further. The costs for a product are not just the materials alone, but staff, who we pay more than minimum wage; associated business costs, premises costs, insurance, utilities, health & safety, and so on! We are doing our best to ensure our customers get the best value we can offer whilst still being able to run the business, keeping our team in work and our heads above water during these difficult times. “Excellent service! Very helpful! Although I had to return the pictures ( I didn't realise how large they were!! ) It would have been nice to have a free return label? It cost me nearly £18 as they were soo big! Thanks! Margaret”

Hello Margaret Thank you for your review, and we are delighted you are happy with our service; this means a lot as a family-run business where customer service is at the heart of who we are. We are sorry these were bigger than you anticipated or wanted; however, we show in our listings, both in picture format and written description, the dimensions of the pictures. This was a gallery set of 5 pictures. We already significantly subsidised your original delivery, only charging a minimum and nominal fee; as we are sure you can now appreciate, the actual cost to us is considerably higher than what you paid for your delivery. We could offer free return postage; however, as we all know, nothing is “free”. So the price of goods would have to increase, and we would also have to charge the true & actual delivery cost. Passing this on to All our customers would be unfair, as returns are minimal. Regards Wallfillers Team
