“Ive had the unfortunate experience of claiming for the death of my lovely dog. I made a mess of the insurance & cancelled it - I have just had such caring Teresa re-open the policy and dealt with the claim in a very timely competant manner with all care & sympathy. The policy to start with wasn't the most expensive but reasonable but feel Ive had the best customer service & I have no hesitation in using this company again. I don't feel I would have had the same experience dealing with the Tesco's etc of the world. 6* care & attention.”

“Great! I made a claim for an extortionate out-of-hours emergency vet's fee for what turned out to be a pretty minor injury that just bled a lot (panicky pet parent here!) - I was expecting the claim to be rejected on the grounds the injury actually could have waited until morning when my normal vets were open, but it was approved within a few days. Thanks, Waggel!”

“Poor Customer Service. Any excuse to get out of paying for claims. The very definition of a mixed breed is 2 or more breeds, but Waggel decided it has to be 3 breeds to get out of paying?!”

Hi, I am sorry to learn of your dissatisfaction. We class two breeds as a cross breed and when a dog comes from more than two breeds or you have no knowledge of your dogs breed, this is classed as a mixed breed. When going through the quote flow process, this is explained in the section where you have to select your pets breed. If you would like to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to contact us. “Although this process was fairly easy, the claim was pre-authorised but I seem to have had to register it as a new condition. There is a pathology result pending which we hope will not lead to further treatment but ask you to keep the claim open until we have confirmation from the vet. Thank you.”
