Above excellent from start to finish. You covered my American bulldog when others wouldn't. You only charged a fraction of a price compared to pet plan who charged over £160 for the same cover! Your staff are amazing with their swift responses and even though I was only covered for a short period of time before our baby injured himself, you covered it with no issues. I can not recommend you highly enough. A very happy Odin who has 7 weeks out of the 8 post surgery waiting for the update next week! Wouldn't be possible without this insurance xx

I find it unbelievable that you cannot claim for anything in the first 14 days yet waggel charge you for these 14 days. My puppy got ill 8 days into the policy and vet details to show this yet it’s classed as pre existing. How on earth is that pre existing?! So a dog gets hit by a car what happens then? That certainly isn’t pre existing is it! Shocking service, don’t use!

We have received very good service, Octavia suddenly became very poorly out of the blue and this was distressing for the whole family. Waggel has made her treatment cost easy.

Why will you not cover a cane Corsos it's not the breed it is the owner that make bad breeds and cane Corsos are not a band breed so if one of my dogs is no good you are no good for my other 2dogs that you will cover 😡🤬

Really good so easy to set up especially for multiple pets and like fact you can choose direct debit payment date to suit yourself. Great piece of mind now both my boys are insured for any future treatments especially as my cat is outdoors and my dog Sam is getting older.

We've been a Waggel customer for some time, we went with them due to their (now questionable) online reviews and how easy it was to sign up. The whole sales process was a slick as can be - it was really easy to sign up and start paying. The problems started though when our dog was diagnosed with an allergy condition that would require a series of monthly injections. We called Waggel, and they said not a problem - but rather than claim each time, just let them build up and claim 6 months worth. So we let them build up, and now came to make the claim - and this is where it went downhill. We sent all our vet info and medical history. This confirms the dog hadn't been diagnosed with any allergy condition prior to the policy starting out. BUT, the claim was rejected on the grounds that several years ago our dog had an ear infection. Waggel had looked for ANY lame reason not to pay the claim out, so if your dog has had anything (even an ear infection) in the past - then I would not advise insuring with Waggel. They're clearly one of those online companies who make a fortune from people who never claim, but when it comes to actually paying up - they will leave you high and dry. Literally money for nothing.

Recently adopted a rescue dog who , after months needed a mass removal. Prior to adopting her I took pet insurance through Waggel and I am so happy with the service I received from Waggel There was a certain amount of trepidation on my part when I applied for pre authorisation . Well with Waggel it was so smooth and Waggel staff were / are excellent. I would highly recommend Waggel for insuring you beloved family members,they are the best

I really can't fault Waggel. Easy to claim, prompt payment and quick to answer queries. My little dog was just put to sleep and a couple of days later there was my recent last payment refunded in my bank account. My vet practice also remarked how easy their process was. Thank you to a lovely team of people.

I find filling in the forms a nightmare! when I do the ones for Physio or Hydrotherapy it asks for information I have submitted before and forgotten. I can't go back and look at the detail on the previous forms submitted as it gives only the number of visits, not the dates that I have put on the form. I have just completed a vet's form for multiple medications on different dates and there is no box to explain that so I have put the first date and hope the vets can find the rest. I can never find the telephone number to phone to check with you and I feel stupid having to phone every time I make a claim anyway please sort it out soon as my poor pup is going to be on meds and treatment for a few more months yet! When I do find the number and get through the people on the phone are super helpful and very kind the chat option which I have used is more difficult as things get lost in translation it is always better to talk than type. The three stars reflect the claims process only 5 stars all the way for the rest. I have not communicated by chat email or telephone today I now can't uncheck the box below so please ignore it.
