“Product fine, stated delivery dates are not. Ours was meant to be a friday- Monday delivery and didn't arrive till Wednesday. Not contact about a delay etc.”

As you quite rightly said, delivery should have occurred on Friday or Monday. Our quick delivery process does mean there is a short window for booking delivery slots, and if they are missed, they fall to the next earliest available slot. After checking with our delivery company, they provided a screenshot showing a call to your phone on Thursday and a voicemail was left to book the initial delivery with you. “Web site good and ordering straight forward. instructions could be clearer i.e. 'drill the red and blue dots' does not need the large dots as examples. People know what red and blue dots are. Also the 'Plug' for head did not fit as well as it should and was far too pale in colour. Apart from that a good well constructed product.”

“Goods look good, but not fitted as yet. Delivery was good, and goods looked in order. I've tried to check everthing I need is correct, but you do feel a bit pressured to unpackage everything within 72hours. I realise some people try it on, but paying this kind of money there needs to be a belief in the consumer if problems arise. Hopefully mine will all be okay.”

“A good selection of front doors to choose from, and during their sale at least, competitively priced. Ordering was easy, but communication about a delivery date was poor until very close to the delivery. This meant I was unable to provide an installation date for my builder, and now have to store my new front door until he is available. I have no idea about the quality of the product supplied as it sits wrapped up in my garage for the moment”

“Found this site through googling bifold doors. As we were struggling to get a carpenter to fit doors for us we decided to do it ourselves! The instructions were clear and the information provided on the website was quite detailed therefore allowing us to buy doors and fit them ourselves. We did send measurements for a price for bespoke doors but didn't get a reply so went with off the shelf. Great sturdy doors with everything pre drilled and clearly marked. Once the frame is in and square the rest is easy. So pleased with them.”

“Haven't fitted the doors yet and don't want to unwrap them yet. Updated on order progress and arrived on time. Was told that delivery driver would have a .mate with him as the doors were treble glazed and very heavy. But he turned up on his own so I had to help him. Not sure what would have happened if I was at work and my wife was at home.”

“Product very good service very good the only down fall are the instructions if you’re fitting it yourself it doesn’t tell you where to put the seals on when to put them in. We’ve got our doors in and we are struggling to fit the brush across the top without damaging it Otherwise all in all very good I’m very pleased with them”

On page 4 of the assembly instructions, section 2, we advise to fit the brush seal into the frame head before fixing the frame into the opening, and also provide a diagram. “Service was great,I had a question which was answer no problems customer service was great. Product is ok door had some blemishes in the paint ,but on the whole was ok . Cost wise a bit on the expensive side as it all come unassembled.”

Hi Jeremy, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback - we are pleased to hear you are happy with the service received 👍 Apologies to hear of your disappointment regarding the assembly aspect, the product you purchased is from our wooden ultimate front door range which is advertised as requiring professional fitting, and the fitting instructions are also available to download in advance. It is standard practise within the industry to supply timber front doors unassembled, apologies again that this did not meet your expectations. Our composite and aluminium front door ranges arrive pre-assembled into the frame with everything pre-machined. “We purchased two lots of Bi fold doors from Vufold doors last year, one external and a 6ft E wide internally, and after the twelve month they have been fitted they still work and look like new - very satisfied with the quality and the customer service was brilliant, but mostly they look beautiful.”

“Good product, well made and finished; looks excellent. Excellent delivery timscale; just what we needed. However, fitting was NOT as easy as marketing leads you to believe. As part of a major house improvement project, we had the services of a professional joiner to hand and he had some difficulty in fitting the doors as the instructions were none too clear in places. The opening for the frame and doors has to be exactly square and there is little tolerance available. Whereas there were useful YouTube videos for other VuFold products there isn't one for this specific product; this needs to be rectified - it would help DIY'ers immeasurably. The doors are meant to lie flat against the wall when open but the door handle prevents a neat, stacked, look; it might be worth VuFold investigating a recessed handle arrangement as an option.”

Thank you for sharing your experience and we are glad to hear you are happy with the overall look of your doors. The Inspire internal doors you purchased are one of our most popular ranges and we receive regular feedback on how easy the doors are to install, everything is pre-machined on the 2-door set except where the bottom pivot block requires cutting using the supplied template. Is there a specific part in the instructions you can direct us to so we can review this? The door does fold flat onto the wall however, you are correct and where the end door folds onto the adjoining door, the handle will stop both doors from folding fully flat against each other, we do have catch kits available that hold the doors together when folded back, or as you say a slimmer / recessed handle could be fitted.
