“Hello David thank you for dealing with the order we made on behalf of my nephew Mark Fleetham, we recommended doors due the fact that we had purchased the same previously and he saw the excellent quality and finish. We advised him how to fit them and how your instructions were so explicit and easy to follow. We are still looking forward to you honouring your promise to us, however at present we are in Florida. I have advised Mark to send a review to you, I am sure he will only have good comments as he is delighted with the doors as we are.”

“Very helpful and courteous staff, all technical questions answered quickly. Online ordering very simple followed by accurate progress reports and prompt on time delivery. Have yet to fit as bad weather has delayed project, will comment later when doors are fitted.”

“I needed a low threshold this was excellent just above carpet/laminate level ie 10 to 13mm, there are 2 areas that could be improved on (1) the woodscrews need 3 different bits for the driver, (2) the opening door handle and lock are extremely close to the jalm, otherwise no problems the doors (3) glide along like a knife thro butter, yours B Doughty.”

“Just had our 14ft bi fold boors fitted and am really pleased, apart from a few issues with the instructions my builder was very impressed with the workmanship. They look fantastic inside and out and the quality really stands out. We were very unsure about spending so much money but as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for!”

“Doors arrived in excellent condition, well protected. All parts were present and the instructions were clear. I just wished my joiner had read and followed them! Only one design criticism: To fit the door handle and lock the joiner had to drill through the door and rebate out a space to fit the barrell. As all other rebates had been pre -drilled why couldn't the lock have been similarly pre-drilled? To support the top rail screws had to be inserted through the aluminium rail into the wall above. However with a cavity wall as ours this mean screws going into a void - providing no support. I had to drill screws at an angle and countersink the holes to allow for the track wheels to pass smoothly. This way I could fix the upper track rail to solid structural members. The joiner missed this completely - no wonder the doors didn't close smoothly! The doors are now fitted and finished”

Thanks for your feedback. We do not machine for the keyhole in the face of the access door because the Vufold door set you purchased is reversible for left or right opening and the doors are reversed by turning them upside down. If we pre-machined the key hole in the factory, this would eliminate the reversibility of the door set. Everything else has been pre-machined to ease the installation process. Your door set it top hung so fixing the frame head directly into the steel is a vital part of the installation, as detailed in our assembly instructions. Sorry to hear your joiner did not follow the instructions, however we are pleased to hear you managed to rectify this. Kind Regards

“We have just ordered these doors online and during the process we had a few questions. Ann, on the other end of the telephone, was always extremely helpful and we were informed in advance of the delivery day and time slot. They haven't been installed yet but the Assembly Instructions and Homeowner's Manual are very detailed and clear, and the doors and hardware look strong and very well made.”
