“Part arrived slightly damaged but couldn't send a replacement as non available until another production run which could have been 4-6 weeks. The doors are part of an extensive renovation on our house and I couldn't hold all the work up to wait for a replacement. Only solution they offered as a "filler kit".”

Dear David, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and we are sorry to hear of your disappointment. You initially contacted us 24 hours following receipt of the doors to advise that your wife ran her hand over the edge of the frame head and it had splintered. From the images supplied it did look like there had been some kind of impact, however, due to the short timescale of it being in your possession, it was only right to offer you a replacement part. For stocked items we would normally deliver within 3 – 5 days. It is unfortunate and we are extremely sorry that we are awaiting delivery from our factory for the required part, and you are right in what you say in that we anticipated a 4 – 6 week lead time. During a telephone conversation you did initially advise us you weren’t installing for a few weeks so we were hoping we could get the replacement to you in time. However, you later advised us that you needed the part sooner so it wouldn’t hold up your project. You did request a refund of between £50 and £100 which is the only reason we offered you a wax repair kit as you had indicated you would look to repair the area. As you reported something visually you are unhappy with, we still feel it only right that you should have a replacement part. Since offering you the replacement part this is the latest communication we have received from yourself. Based on your experience, we will feed this back to our packing department and delivery company for improvements on handling, and we will also re-look at our stock replenishment ordering processes to reduce shortages. Please can you kindly contact a member of the aftercare team to advise how you wish to proceed, and please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. We do hope once you have completed your installation you get many happy years of use from your Vufold internal doors. Kind regards Vufold

“Quality product at a reasonable price. It went in easily and precisely and it looks and feels good quality. The doors were delivered on the day forecast on order and the delivery men were friendly and helpful. I could not have asked for a better service or product. Delivery was very quick considering it was over Christmas - ordered just before and delivered not long after.”

“The time between placing the order and delivery was about 3 days, which is impressive by any standard. The product was well packaged and the delivery team were efficient, placing the packages where I indicated. I immediately checked the contents and everything was as ordered.”

“Original purchase of bifold door product very good , requested additional threshold component price £60 and due to £100 min order a delivery of £56.00 ,way over an acceptable price , staff totally not helpful , do not recommend them as a good supplier which has not shown good service practices”

Hi Philip, Sorry to hear of your disappointment. As explained to you by one of the management team, we offer a 2 man home delivery service and we have a long standing relationship with our delivery company. From past experience when we have tried alternative delivery methods things have not gone to plan, causing further frustration and additional costs. Despite the potential risks, we did offer you an alternative delivery service or the option to have the item collected from our premises of which you declined and we didn't hear further from you until now. We are sorry if this did not meet your expectations, however we do feel we did all we could to assist you. Many thanks Vufold

“We visited the factory before we ordered as we wanted to see the doors before we bought. We were made to feel extremely welcome and valued and were given a full explanation in plain English. The doors have arrived and are excellently packed with extremely detailed and clear instructions.”

“Really helpful advice from someone on the phone before I ordered regarding the technical specifications. Realistic delivery date when I ordered so I knew what to expect and communication a few days in advance about the delivery time. I would recommend Vufold and the quality is better than a similar door I ordered a month earlier from a different company.”
