“My five star rating is based on my experience of Vufold so far. I have yet to erect the doors which looks as though it is going to be quite a challenge. Martin Shane could not have been of greater assistance. He answered all my queries by return and really helpfully. I have not had to use the returns process”

“Fabulous service from beginning to end. I ordered a bifold door which was a pre-made size on Tuesday at 4pm and the door was delivered before 12 noon on Thursday (to Scotland). Everyone I spoke to was very professional and great contact throughout . Courier contacted me to say that day it would be then I got an email saying what times window delivery would be and on the day the driver called to say when he would be there. Doors are stunning . Really delighted with everything. Thank you.”

“The communication from the beginning was excellent. Vufold replied quickly to my enquires regarding sizing. The delivery was fast and the product was of high quality. Our son who is a joiner helped my husband to fit the door, it would have been very difficult for my husband to fit without someone with joinery skills. My husband is a decent DIY person. The doors look fantastic!”

Dear Andrew, We are sorry to hear of your disappointment, and that this has led you to leave a 1 – star review on here and on another review’s platform. We do completely agree that you should not have experienced an issue, however we are also disappointed to only receive a 1 out of 5 star rating based on the situation. You initially reported damage to a door that we had no way of knowing how this occurred since leaving us to then being fully installed, hence we refuted your claim and that is why we provided advice on the paint works required. After reviewing the latest images you kindly provided, we do accept that 1 of the 5 door panels had been supplied to you in a condition that did not meet our usual high standards and it should not have passed through our quality control checks, for this we are sincerely sorry, and this has been addressed with our production team. Although the same single door should not have arrived with paint marks on the edge of the glass, as we should have done a better job in protecting the glass during the spraying process, rather than telling you to, we simply requested that you see if you can try to remove it from the glass. As you had fully installed the doors, we thought this a much easier process for you than having to uninstall the door and then re-install a replacement door if the paint could be easily wiped off. After reviewing some of our previous communication, we should have been clearer in our explanation to you at the time. The reason we initially handled your query the way we did and despite our best efforts to request you check all the items within a reasonable timeframe and before arranging the installation, was because you reported the issues to us 17 days after delivery and after the product had been fully installed. We can confirm the internal bifold doors you were supplied are a fully finished door set, and we are sorry that we did not meet your expectations regarding accepting liability for the damage. We were surprised to receive your review as we were still in contact with you and were trying to obtain clearer images of the issue from you. Since receipt of the images, and despite the damage, we have agreed to replace this door for you. We are sorry for the initial issue and we hope that once your replacement door arrives and has been swapped over, you get many happy years of use from your Vufold doors. Many thanks Vufold

“I recently had the pleasure of installing Malmo Ultimate Front Doors in my home and I have to say, I'm thoroughly impressed. The modern design and attention to detail are just some of the features that stood out to me. I feel much more secure with their multi-point locking system and toughened glass. It's also great to know that these doors are energy-efficient, which has helped to reduce my energy bills. “Absolutely over the moon with our inspire fold doors. When designing our new extension these two entrance doors were the one part of the build that caused us a conundrum due to wanting to maintain an open plan living feel, whilst at the same time having the option of closing off the space when needed. Prior to ordering the customer service we received from Vufold was great, especially when it came to getting answers on various technical questions. You can immediately see and feel the quality of the doors and the joiner was very impressed with them. They’ve really finished off the space. We’ve been very impressed from start to finish. If there is one slight criticism it’s that the plastic screw caps supplied with the doors don’t match the quality of the product. However, after a quick search online we managed to find some white oak veneer caps that do the job perfectly and can also be stained the same colour of the doors. It would be good if these could have been supplied with the doors though. I must stress however it’s only a very slight negative and doesn’t detract from the quality of the doors in any way.”

We do appreciate the feedback regarding the screw cover caps and agree that the white oak caps you have sourced do look good, as the doors are supplied unfinished so customers can paint, stain or varnish the doors to any colour / tint, we opted for light oak and white coloured caps as standard. “We had one issue with our order being one part was 6ft instead of 7ft but was soon sorted after a couple of phone calls and delivered by the following Thursday.”
