“The doors are great and we are very pleased with them. They look stylish and are easy to use and keep the open plan nature as well as being able to close the room to make it cosy. The best aspect was the customer service. The frame arrived and was damaged which was unfortunate, but I called the help desk, who were very friendly and apologetic and they resolved the issue by sending a replacement. We were not fitting it for a couple of weeks but I was keen to get the replacement as soon as possible - it arrived the next day!”

Our guidance for delivery, checking items and installation are not there as a get out clause but to protect our customers in the event something does go wrong. All our guidance had been clearly followed by yourself which meant determining the cause of the issue was much more straightforward and allowed for a speedy resolution. “Got a 3 door top hung series of doors for internal use and I'm very impressed with them. I was debating a similar system with another company whose price was roughly half the Vufold price. What put me off was the mechanics of the top system looked pretty flimsy so went for the Vufold. This was a great decision. I'm now sat in the kitchen looking at them and feeling pretty proud of myself for fitting them. The finish is very good, the doors are nice and heavy and look superb. Didn't follow the paper instructions too much, instead followed the fitting on Youtube.”

“The whole process from ordering to delivery was very easy. The quality of the doors is excellent. The delivery drivers were exceptionally helpful and the after-service was great as well I forgot to order an item and it was delivered within two days 👍 They are exactly what we wanted and look great.”

“I did a goggle search for internal bifolds and VUFOLD came up. I really liked what i saw. The Arch way i had was 1.5m so i wanted a bifold to fit i did call and spoke to a lovely man who was really helpful. I placed my order and had the order delayed for a couple of weeks till i was ready for them. Great service”

“Easy to place an order. Kept up to date with the delivery which was approximately 4 weeks. Product packaging gives it plenty of protection & the delivery gents were courteous. Definitely would use again.”

“Damaged door set and poor customer service We were initially pleased with our Oslo door set with sidelights after fitting, but when we removed the film from the glass it revealed that the glass was damaged and scored. Vufold offered us replacements on a supply only basis. This would have left us with the expense of removing the doors and the refitting of the new doors and disposal of the old doors. This was a considerable expense and Vufold would not help or provide any compensation. Despite requesting to speak to a manager on several occasions we were told that no one was available and we could not speak to a manager. So we have a damaged door set and no resolution from Vufold.”

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you are dissatisfied with the after-service you received, although we are confused as to why you feel you weren’t offered any help or compensation. Reviewing our last telephone conversation, a goodwill gesture was put forward to you, so it comes as a surprise to now receive a negative review. As standard policy, we always ask our customers to check for any damages within 72 hours of receipt of the goods and report any issues. This is to determine if any damage occurred during delivery, in which case we could immediately rectify the problem. Unfortunately, as you didn’t notify us of the damaged glass until after the sidelights were fitted, it makes it difficult to determine whether the door was damaged in transit or during the installation. Despite the uncertainty over the cause of the damage, we offered to replace the sidelights free of charge. However, as the goods were purchased to be self-installed, any replacements would be issued on the same basis. As the damage is to the sidelight glazing and not the door itself, it would not be necessary to replace (or dispose of) the entire door, it would simply be a like-for-like sidelight replacement with the door remaining fully installed. We do not feel that your request for financial compensation, while keeping the damaged glass in situ would rectify the issue as a long-term solution. We would like you to be happy with the product provided, hence offering to replace the glass. Our additional monetary offer was to assist you with the replacing of the sidelights and to express our apologies for any inconvenience caused. Although a manager wasn’t on hand to speak to you when you requested, you can be assured that the resolution offered was discussed with and authorised by management. The Vufold team all work closely together and managers are fully involved in all projects and queries, especially in the event of a customer complaint. Our valued staff members all work under the same guidance of the company directors and senior management team. On any future purchases, we strongly advise that you inspect any goods prior to installation so that any issues can be rectified immediately. Many thanks, Vufold

“Ordering was fine product looks good but the packaging was very poor they should have had a wood frame around them The delivery van was not what it should have been they struggled to lift the windows off no wonder the packaging was damage”

“Service was great,I had a question which was answer no problems customer service was great. Product is ok door had some blemishes in the paint ,but on the whole was ok . Cost wise a bit on the expensive side as it all come unassembled.”

Hi Jeremy, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback - we are pleased to hear you are happy with the service received 👍 Apologies to hear of your disappointment regarding the assembly aspect, the product you purchased is from our wooden ultimate front door range which is advertised as requiring professional fitting, and the fitting instructions are also available to download in advance. It is standard practise within the industry to supply timber front doors unassembled, apologies again that this did not meet your expectations. Our composite and aluminium front door ranges arrive pre-assembled into the frame with everything pre-machined.
