“AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! Waited 4 weeks for manufacture only to be hit with problems with delivery. Only one man coming to deliver the doors even though "a professional 2 man delivery service" was expected as per their website. The director is rude and was very patronising. He cancelled the order (leaving us with the back of the house open) and has made us start the process again with another company.”

Whilst we do offer a two-man delivery service on many of our products, the sliding door you purchased (with a 3-4 week delivery timescale) is clearly marked as a one-man delivery on our website in 3 different area’s. It also states that you will need additional men on site to offload. This information was provided to you directly during the quoting stage and again straight after placing your custom order. It was only when we came to arrange a delivery date with you it became apparent that this was a problem. Despite Vufold going above and beyond to help you with the delivery it wasn’t good enough. During two conversations with different members of the Vufold team you felt the need to speak aggressively and used a mild swear word excessively. You repeatedly spoke over them, rarely giving them an opportunity to give you the information you were asking for. When they did manage to, this was greeted with yet more ranting. Vufold operate a zero-tolerance policy against unacceptable behaviour towards our staff and request our customers afford us the same respect and courtesy we show them. Having received complaints from both team members I decided to call you myself. My goal was to explain that your delivery queries had been escalated due to what was deemed to be unacceptable behaviour, calmly discuss the delivery process and any difficulties you anticipated with that and finally book in your delivery. Initially I too was subjected to your ranting and excessive mild swearing. After some time, we achieved the above and to your credit you did offer to apologise to any of the Vufold team you may have offended. I advised this wouldn’t be necessary however as I would now hand any further contact back over to the Vufold team, I politely requested you just speak with them in a respectful manner going forward. Yet again more ranting and aggressive tone began. At this point it became apparent to me that you were unable to deal with us in an acceptable manner. At Vufold, customers are always dealt with respectfully as you were, and we expect this to be reciprocated by our customers – your attitude and behaviour repeatedly fell below what is an acceptable standard despite us trying our best to work with you. Being ‘Old school’ is not an appropriate excuse. So, you are correct. I did take the unprecedented decision to cancel your order with us. Rick Collins Managing Director

“Product fine, stated delivery dates are not. Ours was meant to be a friday- Monday delivery and didn't arrive till Wednesday. Not contact about a delay etc.”

As you quite rightly said, delivery should have occurred on Friday or Monday. Our quick delivery process does mean there is a short window for booking delivery slots, and if they are missed, they fall to the next earliest available slot. After checking with our delivery company, they provided a screenshot showing a call to your phone on Thursday and a voicemail was left to book the initial delivery with you. “I had issues with my door not from Vufold but from the Developers. The door is really lovely. James has been really helpful with his advise and friendly communication. The rest of the team in Customer Support are prompt on replying to emails/calls.”

“The technicians were extremely persistent and got the job done , the service was excellent, however with these heavy doors I do think the handles and locking mechanism should be made of stronger components.”

“2 days delivery from order and great comms at every step. One part had a slight mark on the facia so mailed them and had an immidiate response and part replaced without any issues. Brilliant customer service. The doors themselves are quality made and could not be happier i chose Vufold after much googling of all options”

“I found the range of Vufold doors very well presented and detailed on the website with good installation instructions and diagrams.Also when I phoned them, they were able to explain queries and answer questions that I had. The delivery 🚚 was about 3 days from ordering and the delivery company kept me informed about dates/times and were careful with the packages”

“Web site good and ordering straight forward. instructions could be clearer i.e. 'drill the red and blue dots' does not need the large dots as examples. People know what red and blue dots are. Also the 'Plug' for head did not fit as well as it should and was far too pale in colour. Apart from that a good well constructed product.”

“Finally got around to fitting my Vufold Finesse 2.1m Wide Internal Oak Bifolding Doors which I ordered on 24 February 2024. I know !, it's a long story, but they are finally up. I just wanted to write a review to let everyone know how good these Vufold Doors are. The Materials are very high quality and they look fabulous. I am often disappointed with the quality of items I purchase but not this time, everything about the doors suggests great quality, the doors slide back easily with hardly any effort, and fold back well so they don't take up much space when they are open but can be closed when we need some privacy or when we need to use the space for two different purposes. I am really pleased. They are not completely finished but just had to let you know just how good they are.”

“From order to delivery the customer service was excellent. I was kept informed all the time and delivery was exactly when Vufold said it would be. The communication from the young lady in the office was clear accurate and friendly. The product is, 2.4 wide sliding doors are excellent. They were have been fitted and I am beyond delighted. Great product and outstanding customer service.”

“Vufold it's self was fine but the delivery company was rubish as usual .They said they would ring 20mins before delivery but as usual they did not, only by chance my son was home feeling unwell and he rang me Vufold please use a better delivery company”
