We are so sorry to hear that you found the film difficult to fit. Once the clear liner of the film is removed the thickness of the film does reduce and sometimes an extra pair of hands can be helpful. Films can vary in thickness depending on which film you have ordered.

“Its not as apaque as I expected after reading all the reviews. I purchased this for bathroom window for privacy and applied on top of already frosted glass. However, at a distance from the window inner activity in the bathroom was easily detectable. Complete waste of money.”

The film will give a similar appearance to Frosted glass in a bathroom window and if you are fitting it onto already Frosted glass the change in the appearance and privacy levels of the glass will be negligible. As the film has a high visible light transmission you will always see shapes behind the film.
As you mention most customers are extremely happy with the film but it seems you have not ordered the correct product for your requirements. We would always recommend ordering a sample of any film you are interested in before making a larger purchase to ensure it is suitable for your purpose.
We do hope you have now found a solution for the privacy you require.

We are very sorry that the film didn't meet your expectations but as we explained in our previous review that the only reason the film would fall off the window is because the fitting instructions weren't followed and the clear liner wasn't removed before fitting the film.
If the liner had been removed the film would have adhered to the window and I'm certain this would have made all the difference.

We are sorry you had trouble removing the fine clear liner. This can be tricky but we do provide advice on how to do this in the fitting instructions. We wish you had contacted us when you were struggling as we would have been able to resolve the fitting issues you had with advice over the phone or by email.
Is it possible you ordered the wrong quantity if you didn't have enough film for your windows but again if you had contacted us when you received delivery to let us know we would have course resent more film if it was a packing error. If we are unaware we can't correct a possible error.

I rang you last week to help and assist you, and after our phone call you thanked me for my help and advice.
As we both agreed that if you have a full range of kitchen cupboards and you are trying to match just one door, the only option would be to paint match or change the broken kitchen door to a glass door to match your top kitchen cupboards.
Sadly, we are unable to colour match and all ivory/creams come in different shades, as you discovered trying to match our ivory.

We are so sorry you were unhappy with the film, luckily you only ordered a small sample.
A soapy water solution is used to fit the film which makes it easy to move around on the glass and squeegee out leaving a nice clean finish. I think you maybe fitted the sample directly to the glass.

“Can't recommend for domestic use. I'm sure these work fine when professionally installed, but these weren't that inexpensive and yet essentially it was money thrown away, as after installing two both of them have too many imperfections in them to keep on. Not just bubbles, but also creases the films arrived with. I don't know how many times I'd have to buy this product to get a decent installation, but it'd certainly be far more expensive than a blind.”
We are very sorry to hear that you had difficulty fitting the window film and were unhappy with the finish of the film once fitted. The majority of our customers fit the film to windows in their homes and without any issues at all.
You mention that the film arrived creased and we do ask in our terms and Conditions that if the film is faulty to contact us before fitting it. If it has been damaged in transit which can occasionally happen or is faulty we would of course send replacement film.

“Film arrived without instructions . Couldn’t separate the film from backing as per you tube . Assumed out film didn’t have an adhesive backing as it doesn’t say on website . Placed it up and it fell down overnight . Called the support line to be spoken to by a very rude unhelpful woman . She said as she gets older she hasn’t got the patience and we should of waited until we spoke to someone from Abodr . You have no support at weekends when we needed to do the job . Shame we was going to a lot more but due the unhelpful rude assistant we won’t be ordering from you again . . Are you aware of the way staff speak to customers ?”
