“Great product, speedy delivery even though it was the 4 day bank holiday. The instructions seem a little challenging at first but so easy once you get your head round them.”
“Great service. Delivered well before expected time. Question answered acurately and again in a timely manner. Superb product, very helpful instruction leaflet. I am very satisfied with mypurchase, and highly recommend this Seller.”
“The product arrived on time however, the longest part of one of the lengths of film had creases both ends so I had to waste and cut them off. Also there were no instructions how to stick film to windows. When I have tried the film slides off so not really the best product I've ordered.”
“needed privacy whilst waiting for made to measure shutters
after the first initial attempt worked on how to apply film
worked very well
ordering more now for rear of house”
“Extremely please with the Victorian Window Film I ordered from Abode Window Films. The film came swiftly and was so easy to fit as the instructions were simple to follow, very pleased and will definitely use this company again, highly recommend, my windows now look so pretty and I have the privacy I wanted too!”
“The hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life ! First piece ruined as instructions also very confusing .. once we got to grips the end looked ok but as ruined half we will need a replacement.. probably pay for fitter ?”
“Came as one sheet on a roll in a sturdy box, so no risk of damage in the post.
Arrived within days of ordering.
Went on relatively easy although give yourself time, as trimming around the edges isn't to be rushed (although mine is a sash window of four panes, so lots of fiddly corners) but comes with full instructions so no doubt as to how to go about it all.
Little concerned over one tiny bit in a corner which seems not to want to stick; will just have to see how this goes over time.
Would look at getting again for future projects though, without a doubt.”
“I purchased enough for 3 conservatory windows and found the check pattern on the lining paper very helpful for cutting out the individual pieces of material, without the need to mark it. The pattern also ensures the piece is offered up to the window with the appropriate side to the glass, as defined in the very descriptive instructions.
However, I recommend to DIY users to order enough for 1 spare panel, as I accidentally tore 1 piece when I was squeezing out some water close to the edge of the window where the frame restricted my access! Oddly, the second order had a plain liner, which I had to mark with a felt tip to guide my scissors, but I also accidentally offered it up to the window the wrong side out!.
One other warning note; the instructions suggest using sticky tape to help separate the lining from the film. Sellotape is too strong, as I had a struggle to remove the tape after separating the liner, as I was holding both ends of the film, with the adhesive side facing me. Awkward!
Tip: if you have a flat squeegee about 6-8" long for cleaning shower cabinets, use it in preference to the small device supplied with the film.
The finished effect is excellent, as all the odd marks caused by minute bubbles disappeared after 1 2 hours in the warm sunlight.”
