The film works as advertised...BUT... be aware that it is very difficult (at least it was for me) to work with a large sheet. I have a 63" X 41" window and I wasted the first attempt as it creased and stuck to itself. I'd bought enough for two tries (I know my deficiencies!) and put the second sheet in place successfully by not separating the protective sheet from the sticky side. So, it is up and works beautifully but it is adhering to the window solely by the power of dish soap! Hope it stays up. It is exactly what I need. I have light sensitivity and work directly in front of a large window. So... great product; a bit tough to work with for a big window. The attached photo shows the difference between the smaller window without film and the big one with it.

The product is great and of sound quality - delivery was quick and efficient. Fitting was not quite so straightforward however, but instructions were good - it is more the size and height location which was the problem. We have a few creases so am considering buying another window film and having a second attempt

Looks very good and makes the room feel bigger and more private. A bit fiddly to do the first pane but ok after that. Hope it lasts on the south facing window as not cheap.

This was our second lot of film which we thought we had purchased before from you but the previous film was from Window Films R US. Your film we felt was thicker but the instructions said only to wet the window and then offer up the film and wet again. The previous film we got said wet window and wet the film and then offer up to the window and then wet the film again when in place. The first method from Window Films R US is a more successful method. The difference in colour is apparent but as we were covering the two patio doors going out from conservatory to the garden and the other windows were fixed within the conservatory then it worked. Your bronze is more smokey coloured with a blue/purple tinged. The window film from Window films R US was a larger roll and cheaper . £32.99 for 6mx 76cm and yours was £44 for 50cm x5m . All in all we were happy given it was our first attempt to apply the film and ever dealing with it before.I do have before and after photos but my iphone does a HEIC format and its not supported . The photos are really good maybe if you e mail me I can e mail the photos to you?

Great product, does the job and is almost impossible to see through without losing any light. One issue stops it getting 5*, it is very difficult to put on even when following the instructions to the letter and to not get any sort of crease or bubble. Imagine it's like a bigger version of a mobile protector and you will understand!!

Very quick delivery! The film has made a difference already to my boys South facing bedrooms. Was tricky and fiddly to fit but we got someone to do it for us in the end I would recommend someone to fit for you if your like me and have no experience or patience

By following your good instructions I found it relatively easy to install. It all looks good and fulfils our privacy needs.

Pleased with the product, exactly as described and looks like the image shown. Only for comment; strangely I didn't receive a confirmation order/e mail from Abode after ordering but product arrived promptly

The product itself is fine. Good quality and near enough made to the measurements I requested. BUT trying to fathom out how to install this was very very frustrating. Instructions on how to fit this are very unclear. They talked of a paper backing for frosted finishes(we didn't have this, and ours was a frosted finish) they talked of pulling the backing film off using two sticky tabs. we didn't have these. We tried to get our finger nails in to separate the backing film off to reveal a sticky side, we spend ages got no where, it really didn't look like there were two elements to the sheet supplied, so we sprayed the window with the "slip" mixed to their instructions and the sheet just slipped about on the window,. my wife then tore the single advisory label in half and by sticking one half of this to each side and pulling we eventually got the two sides to separate. Of course, having to muck about like this and repeatedly pick away at the edges massively increases the chances of you damaging the film. (including at one point using a razor sharp Leatherman knife, rather than our finger nails) Really annoying!! Clear unambiguous instructions WITH the right components PLEASE! Don't leave us guessing!

Depends what you want. This film definitely is efficient. Forget the numbers and tests they throw at you. In the real world they mean very little. I compared heat transference through conservatory glass. Their Solar 70 tint film did very little if anything. This film showed an appreciable reduction in heat transference. In short, your conservatory will be much cooler. Set against that though, the mirror impedes vision somewhat. The Solar 70 could be looked straight thtough without much effect from the original glass. This film has an amount of back reflection so you will be seeing some of your conservatory contents as well as the outside. I am fitting the mirror film to the doors then maybe fitting blinds to the windows. Hope this helps.

I purchased enough for 3 conservatory windows and found the check pattern on the lining paper very helpful for cutting out the individual pieces of material, without the need to mark it. The pattern also ensures the piece is offered up to the window with the appropriate side to the glass, as defined in the very descriptive instructions. However, I recommend to DIY users to order enough for 1 spare panel, as I accidentally tore 1 piece when I was squeezing out some water close to the edge of the window where the frame restricted my access! Oddly, the second order had a plain liner, which I had to mark with a felt tip to guide my scissors, but I also accidentally offered it up to the window the wrong side out!. One other warning note; the instructions suggest using sticky tape to help separate the lining from the film. Sellotape is too strong, as I had a struggle to remove the tape after separating the liner, as I was holding both ends of the film, with the adhesive side facing me. Awkward! Tip: if you have a flat squeegee about 6-8" long for cleaning shower cabinets, use it in preference to the small device supplied with the film. The finished effect is excellent, as all the odd marks caused by minute bubbles disappeared after 1 2 hours in the warm sunlight.
