“It was good quality stuff, but it wasn't easy to fit, especially if you follow their instructions about how to remove the backing paper from the film. Turning it over and trying to stick it to the window didn't work for me, and resulted in the film getting hopelessly stuck to itself, which has produced a permanent line in the film that it was impossible to get rid of.”

The film you have ordered is designed to be fitted to glass and not perspex which most probably explains any difficulties you may have had with the fitting process. Some customers choose to fit it to perspex knowing it isn't compatible and that it invalidates the warranty, it is a chance they take and we can't recommend doing this. We do hope though that the film has done the job you wanted it to, although you found the fitting of it a little difficult.

“Unfortunately I found the film very hard to manipulate and abandoned trying to install. It's definitely a two person job but I didn't have anyone to help and the film is very sticky and easily marked. I have located some water based film which was much easier to deal with. I just don't feel this way the kind of film I was looking for and so just not suitable for what I needed. It also had.bo instructions so maybe I was going about handling it the wrong way. The film was recommended to me so I know others have found it fine.”

“Fab service, arrived when they said it would , we applied it ourselves , followed the easy to use instructions and it went up like a dream but the next morning it had a few runs in it and when we went to smooth it out it creased 😢 tried to rectify it but it just went from bad to worse for us , I was gutted ,as we were going to do all the windows , don't know what we did wrong but it was a costly mistake 😠it looked so nice when it first went up , in hindsight we should have ordered a little bit more to practice on a small window first .”
“Hi…. I used your film as a window tint for my vw camper, but it doesn’t seem to be the same copper colour that your advert shows, more of a darker brown and not so see through as your photo shows.”
“Although the film arrived on schedule and was a good price, half of the film itself was crinkled and was unusable.

“Window film arrived in good time from order. However, one of the four sheets had an indentation that could be observed and also a small fibre was stuck between the layers. I was unable to remove. I have used the window film and the mark and fibre are there but not visible to the casual observer, but I know they are!!.”
“Waste of money I'm afraid. Difficult to prise open and scratched the film. Top film didn't pull away as suggested in instructions so grappled with peeling it down thus damaging it more. Difficult to cut straight - why not have gridlines on the bit you throw away? Very disappointed.”
“I've just 'fitted' my second sample. It will be interesting to see how this pans out. I messed up with the first attempt and did not apply nearly enough slip, so the sample had, what looked like, a lot of inactivated adhesive which showed up badly on the window. This time, I did it according to the book and had a lot of slip on both sides of the film. After squeegeeing it out, it sat a lot better on the window.
Now I have a fair amount of very small water 'bubbles' underneath the film which I am hoping will dry out.
As it states, there is haziness looking through the film which 'should' disappear when the water between the film and the window dries out. Hoping it does, as at the moment, the view through the film is not clear. Time will tell, and if it does, I will have the confidence to buy the film to cover three windows. As it stands though, It's a wait and see . . . .”
“My original order had been produced incorrectly but the team were very helpful to create and send a new item, so I cannot fault the customer service.
Unfortunately, when the correct item finally arrived, I was not too impressed with the product. I have installed fablon film on windows before and had always managed to do a decent job. This product was different, and quite difficult to lay without air bubbles, and the installation tool provided was a bit too small to do a good enough job. I ended up using a window cleaning squeegee, which worked better. The product also marks quite easily if you have to peel it back up to re-lay in the event of air bubbles. Ultimately it's decent and does the job, but I wouldn't say it provides a professional finish.”

“I originally gave 1 star as the product hadn’t arrived, but over two weeks later, it eventually turned up. To be fair to Abode Window Films, the product is fine, well packaged and of good quality. It’s a pity I had no information re despatch as it took so long I sourced an alternative. In the event, it’s £30 wasted, not good if you’re on a budget.”
