We are truly sorry if you are disappointed with Stained Glass effect window film. The film is as described on our website, 'The coloured pattern is printed onto our Opal frosted window film which gives excellent two way privacy whilst still allowing 80% of light through. This film is an easy to install self-adhesive film and can be applied directly to any smooth glass surface' As the design is printed onto Opal Frost which is a vinyl it does have a feel similar to that of a plastic but once fitted it does transform the glass into a stained glass appearance.

“Its not as apaque as I expected after reading all the reviews. I purchased this for bathroom window for privacy and applied on top of already frosted glass. However, at a distance from the window inner activity in the bathroom was easily detectable. Complete waste of money.”

The film will give a similar appearance to Frosted glass in a bathroom window and if you are fitting it onto already Frosted glass the change in the appearance and privacy levels of the glass will be negligible. As the film has a high visible light transmission you will always see shapes behind the film.
As you mention most customers are extremely happy with the film but it seems you have not ordered the correct product for your requirements. We would always recommend ordering a sample of any film you are interested in before making a larger purchase to ensure it is suitable for your purpose.
We do hope you have now found a solution for the privacy you require.

“Film looks good on the front door glass and lets loads of light in. Instructions included but could be made clearer that the pattern doesn’t go to edge of sheet so when cutting this needs to be considered or may end up being too small.”

We are very sorry that the film didn't meet your expectations but as we explained in our previous review that the only reason the film would fall off the window is because the fitting instructions weren't followed and the clear liner wasn't removed before fitting the film.
If the liner had been removed the film would have adhered to the window and I'm certain this would have made all the difference.

“A little tricky to understand but once soapy solution was on and with the squeegy it went on very easily. Only really difficult thing was peeling the two layers apart. The corner I wanted to start with would not peel away. A little cut through one of the layers would be helpful to get a top corner.

“Too thin to be easily fitted to window, easily creased which makes it unusable unless you like creases.
The colouring of the flowers isn’t as bright as in the pictures, very dull when on window.
Extremely hard to remove once on the window

“Take it step by step, preferably with two people. There really is a backing film which needs to be removed before you place onto the window. Follow the instructions. One-way privacy during daylight then See-through at night if you’ve a light on. We have felt a reduction in glare and room temperature which is what we need. Not yet experienced during the winter months but we are expecting lower daylight. Overall satisfied.”
