“I ordered the high performance one way mirror vision silver reflective film and it does exactly what it said it would do. Very happy that it provides privacy and reduces the sun's rays. On a dull day it does obviously make a difference to the light that comes into the room. You can look out, but can't see in, but during the night when the light is on, you can see in. Easy to put up, just make sure you keep it flat so you don't crease it, as it will crease and you can't get the crease out, as stated on the website. Highly recommend.”

“It was good quality stuff, but it wasn't easy to fit, especially if you follow their instructions about how to remove the backing paper from the film. Turning it over and trying to stick it to the window didn't work for me, and resulted in the film getting hopelessly stuck to itself, which has produced a permanent line in the film that it was impossible to get rid of.”

The film you have ordered is designed to be fitted to glass and not perspex which most probably explains any difficulties you may have had with the fitting process. Some customers choose to fit it to perspex knowing it isn't compatible and that it invalidates the warranty, it is a chance they take and we can't recommend doing this. We do hope though that the film has done the job you wanted it to, although you found the fitting of it a little difficult.

“Quality product with fantastic, professional looking end result. The process of fitting, although well-described in the instructions, is not easy. A small sample to try first would be very useful, in order to understand the process, especially the need to ensure both window surface and both sides of the film, are completely free of particles, peeling off the backing and flipping the film around. This would minimise wastage through errors. Not cheap but a good finish.”

“Samples arrived swiftly with an extra sample supplied too at no extra cost. The one we wanted to work was the ‘white out’ for a conservatory roof, however it was shiny and that was unexpected. The blackout was ideal with a ‘Matt’ finish but this is too harsh a colour for our needs.
Can’t use any ‘see through’ options as our roof windows are badly marked and the idea was to disguise this using window film. Shame we don’t seem to have found the solution.”

“Outstanding product and excellent value. Bought for full-length windows in a ground-floor apartment my son is renting. As the bedrooms overlook a communal space, privacy was lacking and blinds were kept down. The difference is incredible as now light floods in. Top window films were trimmed to allow 1 cm border of 'unfilmed' window ( no loss of privacy). Highly recommend”
