“Excellent service standards experienced, from assessment day through to the surgery performed by Jonathon Ross who was exemplary, other mentions for Neil who made everything about the process very clear and Marie who was just first class pre and post the operation, overall a premium treatment experience, finally to be able to perform night time driving without glasses for the first time ever, is an amazing feeling, thank you everyone.”

“After years of living with ptosis which was getting worse and having significant impact on my ability to see out of one eye I met with Jonathan Ross. From the initial consultation I knew I was in good hands. My surgery went smoothly and the results are amazing. My ptosis has been corrected, and my confidence increased. I can’t recommend this surgery, of Mr Ross enough. The aftercare was great. I wish I had met him sooner.”

“I went this week for my second cataract procedure under the brilliant Dr. Jonathan Ross. The clinic staff were brilliant especially Claire Hush who advised and guided me before my first eye procedure..,I was nervous as I also have AMD which I thought would stop me getting the procedure, I got a consultation and was delighted to be told I could get my cataracts removed and new lens fitted. I would definitely recommend Vision Scotland and all the team especially DR. Ross…a professional eye clinic that cares… Thank You All Frank”

“Initial appointment efficient and informative. Helpful correspondence prior to the appointment. All staff pleasant making the journey less stressful. Comfortable waiting rooms at Vision Scotland Appointments ran on time Process explained effectively. Day of surgery went very smoothly. Regular reassurances by staff including my wife being kept up to date with progress. Left premises well informed re home management and possible complications to be aware of. Post operation contact appropriate and appreciated. Had review appointment where further reassured re positive progress. Delighted with outcome. Excellent binocular vision and no spectacles required. My Optician fully informed. Seamless and very effective journey. Many thanks”

“Had both cataracts done on the 3rd of April, on arrival was made very welcome. The procedure took just over 20 minutes, felt quite a ease and no pain. No after effects and eye sight improving on a daily basis. Now back driving. Overall very happy with the service Vision Scotland provided”

“I have found my whole Vision Scotland experience to be excellent. My cataract procedures, carried out by Mr Mantry, have given me perfect results for distance and vision, as requested. The high standard of customer care, the thorough information provided at every stage and attention to detail by all the clinical staff was very reassuring and engendered a feeling of confidence throughout. “So professional from start to finish. From first consultation to post operative follow up the service was excellent. My surgeon Jonathon Ross was professional, reassuring and I felt I was in good hands. All the staff were so genuinely kind and empathetic. My surgical outcome for both eyes was excellent and I no longer need glasses. So nice to see clearly again.”

“I was very happy with the whole procedure from the beginning with the tests carried out and then the operation and the care and attention I received throughout even when I was a bit concerned about the floaters but was comforted well each time. “The service from Vision Scotland was excellent, although you'd hope for that from the price. The initial consultation was very informative and gave me the ability to make an informed decision about the various options available to me. The Zoom call with a consultant was extremely valuable. And a subsequent Zoom call with the consultant performing the surgery was very reassuring. Having selected lens replacement, the surgery went very well. The team was very welcoming on surgery day and made me feel at ease in a comfortable environment. I was fully aware of what was happening at all times and the team/surgeon answered all my questions. The only negative comment is that no-one sufficiently stressed the need to bring your darkest sunglasses for the drive home. With pupils the size of dinner plates, everything was extremely bright. I would recommend talking to Vision Scotland if you are considering this type of treatment.”

“Super easy from start to end result! I had cataracts in both eyes, neither of which fell into the NHS criteria for removal. I felt that my vision was not adequate for daily living, so I decided to look into private treatment, and found Vision Scotland. I chose to have my consultation at Edinburgh, a mere 20 minutes from my home. The clinic is very new and modern, with good parking facilities. My initial consultation took around two and a half hours. The eye exam was very comprehensive and reassuring that they were able to give me more than one treatment options based on their findings. All staff I encountered were very friendly,efficient and helpful. I chose to have both eyes treated at the same time, and scheduled an appointment to suit my needs. On the day, I was in the building in total, no longer than a few hours. The operation itself was amazingly quick, and totally painless. Afterwards I had tea and biscuits, and was given clear post operative instructions. I received a courtesy call two days later to see how it was all going. I cannot recommend this place enough. It was an amazing experience, one which I would not hesitate to recommend to others. I am currently one week post operative and cannot believe that my vision is so perfect. I have worn glasses and contact lenses since age 14, and cannot believe that I could achieve this clarity.”

“Hi, I would highly recommend Vision Scotland, as they are so friendly, and professional. The whole process from start to finish was amazing. They make you fell at ease at every stage from start to finish. I would describe the whole procedure as when you have a dirty windscreen and you use your windscreen wipers to clean it, you then see very thing so clearly. Alan Barrass”

“Excellent service, from everyone at VisionScotland from me contacting them to arrange consultation to now, even after care call to check how things are. Each person helpful and in my opinion nothing could be improved on. If anyone is thinking of Cataract surgery I would recommend VisionScotland 😀”
