“Absolutely love our sofas (Howard 3 seaters in colour rust). Really friendly and helpful customer service, super fast delivery. The delivery drivers even brought everything into the room for us! Definitely recommend. We’ve had them for a year now, also have 2 cats & dog who sit on them daily & they still look brand new. Comfiest sofas I’ve ever had. Thank you Vintage Sofa we love them!”

“Ordered the sofas in late October, having been told online that the delivery eta was 4 weeks. Finally got a delivery date of 16/12. Sold my old sofa in preparation for delivery at 2:30 on 16/12, I was informed that the delivery wouldn’t take place and that the earliest delivery would be Thursday 22nd December (not ideal). Sofas arrived with damage to the base cloth of one of them and the other had clearly been quality inspected and x marks in blue biro to say where damage/marks had occurred. One side of the sofa is a different shape to the other Contacted vintage sofa company and they are sending someone out to repair base fabric and check the other issues. Just not what I expected when I spent just under £5k on sofas. So very disappointed”

Good morning Tanya, Thank you for taking the time to do a review as we are keen to continue to improve wherever possible. Thank you for purchasing directly on our website on the 30th of October, the website states 6-8 weeks for a bespke hand made analine Oskar suite and 4-6 weeks as a fast track option. So really pleased that we did manage to deliver within these guidelines on the 22nd December. We are so sorry that your first delivery attempt was cancelled last minute and this was so upsetting - the week before Christmas was so busy and we tried to get the next nearest delivery slot (thankfully we managed to deliver the suite before Christmas) on the 22nd December. I'm so sorry that the black dust sheet lining on the base of the sofa was pierced during the delivery, the independent upholsterer will be able to replace this easily when they visit. The independent upholster will also look at your concerns regards the marks that you have you forwarded, the leather that you selected is a natural full grain aniline leather so has natural marks in the leather and not a corrective grain - the expert will be able to advise very promptly and we will endeavour to rectify any issues that may come to light. Just to assure you that none of our manufacturers use pen (to mark the sofas) as quality control. If you would like us to call and discuss further once the upholsterer has visited and made their report as we aim to close after care cases as soon as we possibly can.

“We traveled from York, I was hoping to convince my husband to buy two leather sofas rather than velvet. We were like kids in a sweet shop! The Mill is dressed beautifully, helping you imagine how the pieces will look in your own home. Excellent marketing. Thankfully Katy told him to try the Charles sofa with the sheepskin. Not only did we buy the two sofas & sheepskin there & then but we called the next day and ordered a third sofa for the snug. The team were fantastic, very friendly & helpful making the whole experience a happy memorable one. Thank you all 😍”

“What an amazing place! From the building it’s breathtaking, to the furniture inside, it’s so hard to choose because everything is just amazing! Really good quality furniture, affordable prices very quick turn around some of our things where in stock but we decided not to take until we bought our house then delivery was fast. I can’t recommend this family run business enough, I think they are so lovely! The coffee and cake on arrival made our shopping morning even more special!”

“It is quite a challenge these days to find a honest, great quality, reasonably priced company with great customer service. I strongly believe Vintage Sofa ticks all these boxes and more. I usually like to see the real product before I buy, however this time it was different. After reading all the informations and watching videos about the different pieces of the furniture they sell and the journey of the owners to the company vintage sofa is today. I decided to give it a try and order online without the physical viewing. I can say now it was a great decision. We purchased Oscar in leather, and that really seem to be a piece of art worth the investment. The furniture is really beautiful and comfortable- it seems to be very well made. The customer service was great, every person I talked to was very helpful and patient with explaining the different fabric options etc. I feel we will come back for more.”

“We couldn't be happier with the sofas we bought and the way we were dealt with. We bought the Opium Emerald Lamour 4 seater and 2 seater, they're beautiful and incredibly comfortable. Family run business and local to me and no hard sell - they just let you wander around their beautifully arranged and designed fantastic old mill but have every answer you need should you ask. “Fantastic service high end luxury quality sofas as i purchased 2 and also a beautiful rug to finish my living room. The rug is thick very vibrant colours and so soft on your feet. “What a wonderful place this is. Beautiful furniture presented in a beautiful setting. I’ve never felt like I was in a day out whilst buying furniture before! We were made to feel welcome as soon as we walked through the door but at the same time never felt pressured. All the furniture is excellent quality, British made and very fairly priced. We were kept informed of lead times and delivery all the way through and even a courtesy call after delivery. Couldn’t be happier with our beautiful furniture.
