“easy to use, staff a bit rushed cos so busy, i was gonna use again but my offer was too low, i know about jewellery sold all my life, but needed the money and ebay was no longer an option, i took the money and regretted ever since, and cos of a knee jerk reaction wrote bad review then changed it to a good one, but i cant use again every email shows they dont want me too, but i got 155.00 packed beautifully in lovely boxes all my best stuff, ive still more if on ebay the way i sell i could have got a couple of grand for that lot, biggest regret of my life, sold some personal items meant alot to me, but i need a new mobility scooter so just took it. to improve i think they should offer you the money and you have to wait 24hours to think about it x”

“I’m writing this after a few of what I have to say very stressful weeks. I sent jewellery and bits and bobs. I wanted 3 rings returning as the monetary offer was too low.. Unfortunately all 3 of my rings of approximate £650 were reported to me as ‘lost’. Initially I was only offered £100 which didn’t even cover scrap value. I wanted them back and that offer would not even replace one of them. I am advising people to insure their property in case this eventuality happens to them. Apparently no proper valuation notes were made when received by Cash Cow. So my compensation has been guessed. I remain grateful to Anthony & Katie who finally agreed and paid me £300 very promptly after I accepted the offer. However I remain very disappointed at not receiving the true value and the loss of 3 lovely rings..”

“I used Vintage cash cow for the 1st time and will NEVER USE again and will NEVER recommend to any of my past business customers or friends. Wish I had never used them as they are obviously just ripping people off. The offer was pathetic for more than 235 items sent which included boxed sets of items in new condition and items I already checked were fetching 100s online just for parts. Customer service were rude and arrogant. I was driving when got the offer after a hectic day , I should have said send items back as worth hell of a lot more than 44p each especially as some gold items included.”

“Had a phone call with someone from this company and they advised me on what to put in my box to get the best offer. I did as advised and put a wide range of goods into my 2 boxes, some a lot better than others. I was shocked when I got my offer, I had expected at least double what had been offered after talking to a few people.so all in all, very disappointing. Will not use them again.”

“From initially being a little sceptical, I was genuinely impressed by the service that Vintage Cash Cow provided. I had tried selling stuff previously to various specialised shops and had mostly been met with snobbery or a 'it's not worth anything'/'I can't give you much for this old tat' type of approach. With Vintage Cash Cow, by contrast, I felt that I was dealt with fairly, transparently and above all courteously throughout the whole process. They also stuck to the timelines given for providing a quote and (once I'd accepted this) payment. The phone operatives that I dealt with were very helpful and professional. I will definitely be sending at least one more box.”
