“Had to wait a very long time from ordering to receiving. Plaque slightly rough on top and bottom edges where 'glazing/polish' has missed, but otherwise, reasonably happy.”

“Don't buy from this company unless you can wait 10 weeks. Very good at apologising but 10 weeks!!! but for the price you may well expect better”

Our hand-crafted signs do take approx 6-8 weeks to produce and we do advise of some unfortunate delays on our website. I can see that your sign was delivered within 9 weeks. “The quality of the sign is acceptable, as it certainly looks "premium" when attached to the wall, but the materials are definitely cheaper than I was expecting. Also, disappointingly, after carefully considering font types and sizes when placing the order .. the distance between the house number and street name on the final product is significantly smaller than what was planned, bordering on being cluttered and almost unreadable in appearance.”

Hi Marc We are sorry to hear that you are not entirely happy with the product received. We offer a live preview on our website which shows how the artwork will be on the sign and this is how the sign will be printed. If you feel that it differs from the onscreen image we would advise to contact our customer care team to discuss this fault. I am unable to locate any previous correspondence regarding this? “I ordered a house number sign, which was a black disk about 9 inches in diameter, with the white house number sign surrounded with pink primrose flowers. Yes, these do produce a good effect and I'm sure will be popular with visitors. The cost - £34 - was some way above what would be asked for simple numbers And what was not obvious at the time I ordered was that I would have to wait for the simple design to be individually painted and then shipped from the USA - a process which took several weeks. These days one has come to expect goods which one orders from a company like Amazon to appear at one's door the next day. If there is to be a lengthy wait, I would like that to be flagged well in advance of buying.”

We are sorry to hear that you are not entirely satisfied with the length of time that it took to produce and deliver your unique hand-crafted and made-to-order sign. Our company is a small family-run company and not a corporate company such as Amazon, and the product purchased is handmade and hand-painted, so it is not an off-the-shelf sign. Our resin signs do take 6-8 weeks to produce and dispatch to the UK, or 8-10 weeks for international deliveries. This is noted on our website at the checkout, so apologies if you did not notice this. “Not the quickest to fulfill sign order as had to ask/chase with no updates provided (lose 1 star) and item when received had an imperfection (lose 1 star) So could have paid more elsewhere to get sooner and better quality although overall acceptable for cost paid.”

“Was very excited to received our sign however we were not happy with some of the lettering as it was not straight and for the price that we paid who were very disappointed and still waiting for someone to deal with this problem.”

Thank you for your review. Our standard delivery is 7-8 weeks, with a 1-2 week delay currently, which works out to around 10 weeks for the delivery time, as these products are hand-made and hand painted. I can see your order was sent out within the 7th week which is earlier than our expected delivery time frame. We do hope you like sign and are happy with the product received. “Took too long to arrive ordered beginning of December and arrived march.when arrived thought was expensive for what it is. Lovely item and looks nice just the price let it down. Don’t think will be ordering again from this company.”

Our standard delivery is 10 weeks inclusive of bank holidays/christmas, which takes us to the 24th February. “The sign is great and does the job perfectly BUT the service is very slow and when you receive the product it is astonishing to find that it has taken so long to make. So, I would recommend but only if you don’t need the sign promptly.”

Hi I have looked into this and can see that your purchase was for an acrylic house sign which has the size detailed on the product page of 14x14cm so it would therefore arrive this size. “Took 10 weeks to arrive after production mistakes. I received impersonal email saying: it’ll take longer. You can cancel or go ahead. I.e take it or leave it. I wish I’d left it. The sign is fine and as advertised but it is very small and quite hard to read. I wish I’d bought the next size up but I assumed it was large enough since I bought 2 sizes up. Wish I’d bought a simple oak sign instead.”

“Mmmm, the sign itself is fine. We didn't know which way round the plastic washers had to go and of course we put them on wrong to start with. The chrome coloured screw covers didn't clip on so they're now held on with blu tack. We find doing anything like this, which may be a small easy job to you, is difficult for people less dexterous so you might need at least an explanation with the product. It looks good now it's up, good 'ol blu tack!!”

“The only reason I've only given Village Green only 3 stars is because they took an eternity to send the plaque, claiming one was lost in the post. But the sign itself is now on my garden gate post and its beautiful. So don't be afraid to order one, the wait was worth it.”

“Almost a month went by without receiving the order. When I queried they said that they were just doing it. Think they simply forgot . Otherwise the sign is OK and was easy to install.”

“I love the idea of having a custom house number and name... I saw all of the different options on Village Green and thought I'd buy one as an anniversary gift for my daughter and her husband. The order led me to believe it would take 6-8 week. In actuality delivery took 12+ weeks, which was disappointing. I visited my daughter this past weekend and saw the oval plaque before it was put up... I was even MORE DISAPPOINTED. The resin plaque is not heavy and of a high quality. It felt like it would break if you dropped it. The painting on the flowers, numbers and street are very nicely, done but the overall quality of the item (I do not believe ) was worth £83.00. It looked the the ones I could have bought at Timpsons. Nice quality for what it is but waaaay overpriced.”
