I have experienced extreme difficulty getting the free Service offered for five years with my new Boiler. The Company is impossible to get through to without long waits or constantly ringing back.. First service date given was cancelled due to apparent sickness of the engineer and another appointment was made. When nobody turned up, I called to be told there was no record of such an appointment. I would have to make another one which turned out to be two weeks later. I’m extremely unimpressed with customer support for this company and would suggest to anyone looking to renew their boiler to seriously consider buying elsewhere.

New boiler is now working fine but froze up and caused a flood in the cold weather. I had to call an emergency plumber to lag the outside pipe which immediately cured the problem. I feel that this should have been advised for and done at the time of installation - it was a predictable event. During installation I was told that the the installer would have been able to replace some valves affected by the work - he had seen the 'set up' when he quoted, but he was too busy to top up all his stores on the van. The consequence was a leak onto electrical parts - again, entirely predictable as he admitted himself. This shorted the supply and left me without lighting etc for a day and a half, in the winter. I was charged for the call out to fix it as I was told it was not part of the original quotation. The dirty marks his companion left on the carpet are still there. So, the boiler seems to be running well but the experience associated with the installation was not good. I believe that I tried to email / telephone the company but my communication was with the installer. He did not respond to my emails re the leak, hence I used an emergency plumber.

I have been a loyal install of Viessmann products now for over 10 years but the last couple of years have been awful, Used to be that you would call in a warranty call and it was usualy like next day, but now wo knows a week., longer, let alone if you can actually get through to them on the phone, I would be very surprised if a lot of installers are not looking else where not

Rang about a service in Feb because normal engineer who installed the boiler was extremely busy. I was given a quote and told I had to wait a short while. When you did get back to me I was told the price had increased. What's the point of having a quote if you just change it. I was told I could get someone else. Fortunately my heating engineer was avaulable so got them to do it.

The company installing the Boiler did not correctly adjust the Drayton control. I had to find someone else to do that job.

The company who installed the boiler were very poor. Dirty workman and did not resolve the air locked in the system which caused the boiler not firing up and showing the red triangle. To resolve this after,weeks of cold radiators I had to pay for the fitting of a pressure tank in the airing cupboard. Although this is not a Viessmann problem it did not reflect well on the overall experience.

I understood these were the boilers to go for, so we had our Worcester Boach 24 cdi replaced with a Viessman 050 30kw, the model recommended as a suitable size replacement. The installation went very smoothly but a few weeks later, hot water failed. A Viessman engineer visited and said it was a very small blockage in the impeller of a valve within the boiler, so replaced the valve with a filter to help prevent the same happening again. He was surprised a piece of grit (or whatever it was) so small would cause the problem but there you go. We can hear the pump working when the boiler is on so I asked him why the boiler is noisier than the 20+ year old Worcester it replaced, particularly as it is advertised as quiet. He said it has a higher output than the Worcester, so is bound to be noisier and that he did not consider it noisier than it should be. His comment made me feel like I cannot book an engineer to look at it without being charged, as he already dismissed it as not a problem. Additionally, occasionally the hot water just does not come on. we have to turn the tap off for a short while and try again. An intermittent problem like that is very hard to prove and you can bet it would work ok an engineer called, so we would have to pay. I read loads about boilers before having ours replaced. Viessmann seemed the best but I'm disappointed. I wish we had picked a Worcester instead.

After phone calling for more than a week someone has finally got in touch with me and an appointment has been made for an engineer to come over and fix the issue with my boiler. Happy with the engineer work who sort out the problem in less than 15 minutes, but very poor services in regards with contacting me for an appointment so because of this i wasn’t able to use the hot water in my house for almost 2 weeks.

The boiler itself is great, I just did not like the installation process, as a result my kitchen had been damaged and ended up with nasty looking pipes all over. In general corners had been cut and cratftsmanship had been poor. I would not choose them again. I was also convinced that instslling the pipes on the right instead of being hidden behind would look better. Not quite true.

I have neither hot water nor heating this morning, with temperature barely above freezing. The controller is indicating that the boiler is on but nothing is happening. I have tried to contact the installer on four different numbers with no success. What should I do? Apart from having a different installer put in a different boiler? I am eighty three years old and am feeling very cold.

I enquired about a new boiler one day, it was installed the next, then, nothing but problems. The hot water would get hot, then cooled to tepid. Not enough hot water to fill a bowl to do the washing up. A couple of visits from the company that installed it (Viessmann passed us to them to install it) left us with a boiler with no hot water at all. I spoke to Viessmann who booked one of their engineers to come out to fix the boiler, this took just over a week for the visit. How is it installed so quickly, but waiting over a week to get it fixed. The issue was a faulty pump and gauge, not good for a brand new boiler. Not good service from Viessmann

I can understand that the Xmas and New year's dates are near impossible but I was disappointed that my day's off at that time was spoiled by no heating or hot water, I don't usually complain but I really was disappointed by the service, I can understand that everyone wants to be with their families and I can understand that, the lady at Boiler Buddies was so lovely and understood my concerns, I am well over 70 years old and my son came to see me and searched on line and managed to get things going again, I was so grateful to him, Honestly I don't blame you guys, everyone needs a break at this time of the year but was just really inconvenient, sorry for being a pain!!!

The boiler is very noisy in operation and allowing for percentage increase in gas prices certainly no savings against the running cost of the previous, 20 year old, boiler Overall very disappointed

I have had an issue with the boiler from day one. It makes a loud clicking noise at random times throughout the day and night. It has been loud enough to wake me up (and I sleep in the room above it’s location). A Viessmann engineer has attended three times in the last nine months and failed to diagnose the fault, it has still not been fixed. I sent an email to Viessmann two weeks ago to ask for the engineer to re-attend and fit the parts he ordered a month ago, but they have failed to reply to me. I’m at the point of rejecting the boiler due to the unsatisfactory loud clicking noise it makes. I will buy Worcester Bosch next time as I’ve never had any issue with their boilers.

Boiler delivered missing parts and added a day to disruption. After commission two separate leaks discovered. Faulty condenser pipe manufacture. Flue was not correctly sealed. Customer services blamed everyone one else and refused any compensation. Shoddy, dismissive and did not care about the customer one iota despite £5000+ price. Has worked well thus far with heating test to come this winter.

The new update in the summer wasn't understood by viessmann engineers. It took months for the Eco mode to be introduced. Before that it was impossible to have water heating on anything but constant, which was extremely expensive. Now I use the Eco mode I have better control of costs. Viessmann sent an engineer who had no clue how to work the new software. 4 months later, the Eco mode appears on the app and problem solved. If not for the permanent 'on' issue, this boiler is simply outstanding.

It’s been disappointing. Have only a one bed flat but the water in the kitchen isn’t always hot and neither is it in the shower or hand basin in the bathroom. In addition, a pipe beneath the boiler has continued to leak ever since installation.
