“It's easy too get started and though it has limitations, it's usually possible to find creative work arounds. Also, wonderful customer service.”

“(1) There should be tutorials on drawing and uploading one's own graphics in a simple and quick way. I still do not know the simplest and easiest way to draw something and have it easy to download to VideoScribe in 2-3 steps. (2) There should be a way to draw direct into the whiteboard. (3) There should be a way to take 3-5 svgs and save and capture them into one picture so that such can be pasted elsewhere rather than having to paste the same 3-5 images that are recurring. (4) Number of svg pictures available - way too low.”

“I do a large amount of training and writing my own training courses, primarily on how to interpret night dreams (unusual eh?) and I have found the simplicity of using VideoScribe to produced animated short videos to emphasise a point or two has become invaluable. It's a very easy user interface and the addition of music, high quality clip art/images and quality music tracks is SUCH a bonus. On the only occasion where I have contacted Support they have been brilliant too. Love it - thank you!”

“it is a very good and friendly program but it freezes and crashes all the time. after 2 or 3 minutes long presentation it slows down. after 5 minutes long presentation it becames very hard to save it as a video.”

“I really love videoscribe - i've been able to build a whole new skill that has benefitted me, my friends, and my companies. A couple of things that are really needed that aren't included - Ability to decide where to place something on the page (vs always centered) - Ability to group objects - Ability to control the size of objects relative to the hand”

“So far I've only made 2 videos but I'll be making more! Making videos with VideoSribe is easy and fun. It's intutitive, I made the first in about an hour, start to finish, with a few minutes here and there, over a few days. The second one I just sat doen and did the whole thing in under an hour. Both looked good, but I "tweaked" them anyway, to make them better and just for fun.”

“Great software, easy to learn and intuitive. The output really helps to attract and hold the attention of the audience. I would love to see some additional features, especially: - font presets or the equivalent of the format painter (ability to save/re-use or copy styles, font size relative to zoom level, ...) - guides (sticky, to facilitate alignment between objects) or simply a grid - ability to set multiple music tracks - 'move out' functions (e.g. fade out, fly out) - 'emphasis' functions (e.g. pulse, teeter) And eventually a more complex -but nicer - way to automatically define the design path when images/graphics are used (something like the automation of the best practice method of drawing border first and then color fill that can be achieved with Illustrator). Keep up the good work!”

“I was able to create a great video fast-forward for a conference. However, there is one thing that frustrated me. The application made me believe that if I purchased a subscription I would get access to broader set of graphics. I did purchase but it only gives access to buy those non-free graphics and they are expensive. This felt like a trick. Otherwise the app is great.”
