“My initial impression is that most of what can be done with Sparkol can be done in PowerPoint except the drawing (which be be done crudely). I nearly cancelled after working through my first project. There are few things that should be available upfront: 1. Font selection---I found it after I finished my first project 2. Sound control---I'm still trying to figure that out---there doesn't appear to be a lot of control but maybe it's there somewhere For the price, the product would get another star if it was not a subscription. It's worth buying once but not every year. We'll see. Maybe when I've mastered it I'll be more enthused.”

“I purchased the program just last week. I created several VideoScribes and converted them to PowerPoint for use in the sermon this past weekend. It is a fantastic program for getting a point across visually.”

“VideoScribe is a unbelievable software to create awesome videos. As ive been using the free trial for a week, there were pictures i thoight the full-version would include. To my disappointment they weren't. So few more free graphics would make VideoScribe a FIVE-STAR Software ... Maybe you will add some pictures later on. Thank you.”

“VideoScribe is so much fun. I haven't been this creative in years. I use VideoScribe to help create fun reference videos to review my pathophysiology and pharmacology courses. With the amount of information in these course, VideoScribe helps me break concepts into simple terms and put them into some visual animated presentations. Thanks, great software. D”

“I don't like writing negative reviews and I like the concept of VideoScribe, however, as part of the monthly subscription, if Sparkol is going to provide rendering servers to push your videos to, they need to work and perform without issues. In the industry, they refer to this as "Over Subscribe and Under Commit" meaning that their computing infrastructure (a.k.a. "Rendering Servers") are over utilized for the amount of paid subscribers. This should not be an "after thought" as any company should be planning for growth. A real "deal killer" if you ask me.”

“Your software is so user friendly that it's a breeze. Leaving the majority of the learning curve to be "How to construct a good story". Then you give us fabulous resources materials to use for learning pre-production. I love this software and I love this company. Keep up the good work!”

“Hi. I've been using the product to develop a marketing video for a product we launched in South Africa (you can see the video here -> https://youtu.be/SMH00y1hbgg ) Few things I picked up that I think can be improved: 1. The upload to sho.co doesn't work. Maybe the servers were just down on that day 2. I use a Mac Book Pro (Late 2011 13 inch + 16 gig memory) and when I play the video, the video takes a while to catchup occassionally (1 / 4 times). Not sure if its my machine or general performance issues with the App on Mac 3. Recording voice in 1 go is difficult :) I know I can do this outside the system and import a .mp3 but would be great if one could edit voice at any point in time (may sound ambitious but this available in things like iMovie or Screen Cast o Matic that we use for training videos) 4. If you have images that "move in", sometimes when you publish the .avi file, the images seem to not be located correctly ... possibly a known bug. This happened to me so I removed all the "move in" features and left those images static... Overall ... super cool product. I discovered it when watching videos on a channel called Fight Mediocrity on You tube... Yet to try Tawe but Videoscribe is cool :) Thanks Manish”

“a very un subtle approach to video editing. Video editing is all about subtlety. I will be using this software to generate hand drawings then editing in Premiere. Kinda disappointed from a professional editor's perspective, but can see how you want to keep the system simple enough for newbies.”

“This is a perfect tool to capture an audience's attention. When used in the correct amounts (don't overdo it), it is very powerful in getting the message across. Especially when explaining a workflow or dataflow. A 9-year-old can easily use it (my son does). I have been looking at other animation software but this one really jumped out for me.”

“The product is not useful for me. However, when I requested for a refund within the 7 day trial period, Sparkol came up with various excuses and they did not refund my money. Please be very very careful when you are dealing with Sparkol as they will find some way of not refunding your money. Their priority is to make money, not to find a solution to customer's problem.”

“Created my first scribe today-it turned out really well. Uploaded to youtube no problem. Love the program- however it seems to crash when re-recording audio voice over. Would love to to eventually have the option to record the voice over in sections-something for another version maybe. Really pleased with the program overall.”

“I love the program and think it is relatively easy to use. I've used it for quite a few projects and its always been a winner. To be fair, I would like to see some improvements when working with Voice over files and importing images but I am sure this will continue to improve over time, since I've seen consistent improvements to date. All in All... KUDOS!! Its a great program!”
