“You need to cancel your subscription in a few steps. The application asks many times if I want to buy a pro version when canceling a subscription (complete nonsense). Unless you end up canceling your subscription and using the product, customer support will not cancel your subscription or refund your money. I am very disappointed, do not buy this product.”

Hello Arthur, our cancellation process has 4 steps and can be accessed via the subscriptions and invoices section of the account. It highlights what you will be giving up, asks why you are leaving and then provides some specific information depending on the reason you choose before that final cancellation confirmation. We don't ask you to buy on these pages but if you click on one of the information links at step 3 you will be taken to a corresponding page on the main website. That page may have a buy link as it's just a webpage and not part of the cancellation journey. If you ever need help cancelling we'll happily do it for you, cancellation stops future payments so you will need to contact us before the next period starts to avoid being charged.

“I had a question about sharing a scribe with others for editing, and this was not altogether obvious from the web site. I asked for an explanation and clarification, and they got back to me within 24 hours. Nice!”

“VideoScribe is fantastic for novices too....really a few minutes to learn. Within less than an hour, I was able to make an amazing, memorable family video for a special occasion. Customization with your own photos and music is really what makes this special. I will highly recommend this software to my friends. Great job VideoScribe team -- keep on innovating!”

“Awful. Platform is a money trap that requires you to pay extra for the decent features. There are far better, cheaper alternatives. Plus, they force you to sign up for a yearly subscription hoping you’ll forget, then ignore your requests for a refund. Trash company.”

“The Scribes are easy to create and the tutorials are very helpful so the whole package met our needs very well. I have been able to create several scribes to highlight various aspects of our training courses already which makes a more engaging experience for our learners. Over and above that the whole Sparkol Team have been super helpful in the support they gave our organisation to set up the account initially and our continuous development. The investment is a no-brainer for us as it's a great product and a really good price. Brilliant.”

“Hi there. I really like the software so far. I hope they improve performance overall especially during the rendering. The support is awesome. I can see they care and try to really answer our questions. I also recommend both Udemy Sparkol courses with John. “I have just recently started to use VideoScribe to help me teach children in a religious club who are not meeting in-person. Finding online platforms which are engaging for the children is a big challenge. VideoScribe with its very flexible uses and great ready-to-use graphics fills that challenge beautifully. VideoScribe is really very easy to use. If you can make a powerpoint presentation, you can easily make a VideoScribe presentation. There is a lot in common in the interface logic of both programs. I highly recommend VideoScribe as another tool to teach children, another way to engage the children's minds.”

“Watch this company. The software is good, but the company's policies are cold and hard. They automatically set up annual recurring payments and if you don't get their reminder emails or cancel beforehand, they will take your money and run. Given the current situation with COVID-19, I asked for a refund (literally minutes after they took my money from auto-renew) and told them how tough times were. I got an email back saying 'terms and conditions' and you're not getting a refund. COld and hard company policies. UPDATE. Upon making an official complaint to Sparkol, I am delighted to say they that they agreed to refund me in full. They are being understanding about the impact of the current pandemic. I do always say I judge a company on how the deal with problems and I am pleased with their response. Thank you Sparkol.”

“Slow software with a weird and unique interface based on outdated technology. If you start to use it then there's a good chance the software will get an update and some of the functions you used to use will not work. Great for fun. Terrible for business.”
