The vet was nice, as were the reception staff, but the prognosis was way off resulting in unnecessary medication. My elderly cat was in final stage of kidney failure, due to be put to sleep the next day. I took her to the out-of-hours vet as she had suddenly (over a few hours) lost mobility of her back legs. After explaining her history to the vet, the vet came to the conclusion that she had arthritis. Subscribed pain killer, something to improve her appetite and steroids. A 5 minute Google search told me that these symptoms are found in cats with final stage of kidney failure, which was confirmed when I visited my own vet the next day. The steroids were not needed and an unnecessary distressful injection (and cost). I understand that mistakes can happen, but I would expect a vet to recognise end stages of a very common terminal disease.

Took in a very unwell dog and got back a dog that was back to her old self. However on the night of admission we got the impression that there was only one vet on duty & he was over stretched with the amount of patients to look after. In addition, we really did not appreciate to be given a prognosis as a definite outcome on a procedure that had been carried out by our usual vet earlier that day based purely on assumption only.

Couldn't have asked for any better care for my little dog Bella. They done everything possible for her. We are so grateful for wonderful caring people that love animals the way we do.

Service was good and understand we would have to wait for vet to come out of theatre. Website needs updating as no mention of booking appointments prior to attending hospital but were informed on arrival that we should have booked an appointment.

On Sunday 29th July my dog had a head trauma I’d phoned the vets emergency line which directly puts you on hold which I think is poor as it’s meant to be in an emergency. I’d explained that my dog was circling and showing signs of being very poorly. The vet nurse I spoke to told me to come in around 2 hours which I was in shock around as it was an emergency I then said I only lived 10 mind away so she said to come down in 45 mins and that I might have to call when I get there as the Bell was broken. When I arrived it was pouring down with rain and my dog was having a fit in my arms nobody was coming to the door I was then put on hold again and they finally answered after about 10 minuets, I told them I was outside and my dog was having a fit to which she said ‘alright alright I told you you’d have to phone il be there in a Minuit’ When she opened the door she said come in with a sigh as if I was being too overly conserned that my 2kg Chihuahua was fitting in my arms following a trauma to his head for the 3rd time. I found her totally rude and insensitive which was extremely upsetting and didn’t help given the situation. I found the vets that day and the other vets and vet nurses that cared for him over the next 48 hours very helpful and caring.

Vets Now were very respectful, even though it was clear that Sully had passed, they checked him and confirmed this. Asking if I wanted some of his fur was lovely gesture as I probably wouldn't have asked at such a difficult time, they also let me have some time alone with him before leaving. Thank you Vets Now!
