On reflection and having seeked a second opinion of our dogs issue, Vets now took complete advantage of our position with our pet dog. The costly tests were not required and if they had checked correctly they would have known this.

The vets were very informative and happy to answer any questions we had. Their communication was also excellent; calling every 6 hours to give us an update on the condition of our cat. Really appreciate their openness and responsiveness when contacted. They cared for our cat well, stabilising him quickly and making sure that he was kept comfortable as he was quite nervous in the foreign environment.

I had to take my very poorly dog to PDSA in Bradford in out of hours, where she was subsequently put to sleep. All members of staff were extremely compassionate and supportive. At this very difficult time, I could not have asked for more. Thank you

The vets who treated my dog at Hemel Hempstead were excellent, the care and expertise they used to treat my dog was superb, they saved his life. My family and I ( and our dog Dennis) will be forever grateful to Miguel and Daniel and their team.

Dog was misdiagnosed and fees were extortionate.

Quite an impersonal experience.

The treatment of my dog was reasonable. The charges however, at nearly three times what someone paid their normal vet for out of hours treatment of the same condition in another town, were not. Eye watering out of hours fees together with double charging for treatment are good examples of why monopolies are not a good thing for customers. Hey ho, i guess I'll just have to swallow the hike in insurance premium next year.

The vet at Vets Now was extremely compassionate and gave a very detailed consultation in order for me to make the right decisions. She was particularly patient with myself and respectful of my cats life. All staff treated us both with great kindness and genuine care at such an upsetting time... and being given prints of his giant paws was a really thoughtful touch, now much treasured.

Even though he was not very thorough with his exam he knew what was wrong and gave my cat his medication, my own vet agreed with the diagnosis, receptionists very helpful

I took my kitten in after she fell and they claimed she only had a broken pelvis and 1 broken leg. They explained until a x-ray is complete there may be more breakage however I asked if she was going to be okay and survive and I got told she would be okay however after the xrays it showed she had 3 broken legs 1 broken pelvis and couldn't pass through urine.

Hi Ms Mullen, I'm so sorry to hear this. Obviously we can never predict the outcome of a case or make a full diagnosis before we have completed our initial testing - including X-rays. I appreciate many clients want the reassurance that their pets will pull through, so I'm sorry if this was implied, however it can be very hard to know the full extent of any injuries before this stage. Please get in touch with us at clientcare@vets-now.com if you want to discuss your case further. Kind regards - Kirsty

My poor dog who I had for 14 lovely years, jumped out of my bed at 4am on 29.04.18. She layed on the floor & had a massive fit 😢. I got straight on the phone to Brooke street vets who told me to bring her straight down. I knew in my heart the prognosis would not be good. The care I received that morning from the receptionist & the vet was brilliant. They were very professional but also very caring. I didn't feel rushed or pressured they were amazing. I received a little pack of forget me not seeds in the post with a card which really touched me, it was a very kind gesture. The Brooke street vets staff are great at their jobs 👍
