The vets report sent to my regular vet was incorrect as he stated that the tumor my cat has was the size of a small nut. I was quite shocked when I read this as the tumor is the size of 10 nuts! My cat had a seizure so I had to visit the emergency vet a 2nd time. The site of the tumor was infected so an abx injection was given but the vet should have cleaned the area with anti bacterial solution as the cytology report later showed cocci bacteria and sepsis! Also the cost for these vets is outrages!

My dog was misdiagnosed. I was told she had an abscess due to infected anal glands when in fact she had septicaemia. Plus her abdomen was red and bruised and the vet said it was due to my dog licking herself. This was in fact internal bleeding. That was on Sunday and my beloved dog died on Tuesday.

Hi there, and thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. I'm so very sorry to hear this, and so sorry for your loss, we know how awful it is to lose a pet. An infection is one of the leading causes of septicemia, however the consition can develop very rapidly and can be difficult to diagnose. We'd still very much like to look into your case so please get in touch with us at clientcare@vets-now.com and we can investigate. Kindest regards and sincere condolences - Kirsty

Follow a sudden decline in my dogs health we used Vets now. After a thorough examination it was decided to put her to sleep. The Vet and the nurse were so wonderful and treated us both with dignity and compassion. Giving us time to say goodbye after she had gone. We had the dog cremated and used the local service with Vets now. When we collected her ashes we were looked after again.

My dog was bitten in her ear which made a tear in the skin about 3cm long. She is a chihuahua so it was pretty big however as it was not “life threatening” she did nothing and told us to come back In office hours. We were charged £180 for literally nothing. To make matters worse: We went to our normal vet the next day who told us now that as the wound was no longer fresh she had to go under general anaesthetic and have the wound cut away to be sewn back together. They informed me the vet should have sewn it up on the night and it would have saved the dog a lot of trauma and from loosing extra skin on her ear. She also would have had much better healing. She is a show dog. This is outrageous and negligent. I will leave a public review.

Hi Mr McAulay, I'm really sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience with us. Our consult fee covers the fact we are on hand on an out-of-hours emergency basis to treat the most critically ill pets. If your pets wound was superficial, our advice is that it's usually best to wait until you can see your regular vet the next day as non lifesaving surgeries performed on an out-of-hours basis can be expensive. If you'd like to chat to us about the specifics of your case please get in touch with client care at clientcare@vets-now.com and we can investigate. Kind regards, Kirsty

I needed urgent help for my dog who had torn open a huge hole in her thigh whilst running off lead. The injury was so bad that the muscles were torn from the hip and flapping outside of the leg. Vets now carried out emergency surgery to repair the damage straightaway.

Very local so no long car journeys with a poorly dog - let us know what was happening and could call in the early hours to update on our dog.

I had an emergency appointment with vets now on a Saturday night, the vet I was seen by was amazing she examined my very poorly cat twice to make sure she hadn't missed anything. My cat is 19 nearly 20 unfortunately she is still very ill but thanks to vets now I still have her. I would definitely recommend vets now
