My puppy had eaten 12 400mg ibruprofen. I called ahead and they were waiting for us. My puppy was unconscious when we arrived. She was assessed and we were told the options. Luckily she pulled through. The team were excellent, explaining everything to us & keeping us informed, they were only to happy to answer our questions. With out them I would of lost my puppy. Would definitely recommend them.

Quick response to my call, open 24/7 and very friendly staff. No option to say what made me unhappy? - not a very balanced survey!

The vet was lovely when my pet died but the receptionist wasn’t very welcoming ..my pet was dying and I needed urgent assistance and she kept asking for my paperwork ... extremely upsetting

Our beloved dog, Toby, developed a severe cough & panting at 3.00 am Sunday morning so we rang Pets now and they told us to “ bring him straight away,” which we did, and they were waiting at the door when we arrived, unfortunately, it was too late for poor old Toby, he had gone in my wife’s arms. But the staff arranged for his cremation and we got him back in a beautiful wooden box, all done very tastefully, it was a wonderful end to a tragic event made so much easier for us by the wonderfully sympathetic staff, we couldn’t fault them in any way.

Very dissspointed at the cost due to it being a Sunday my dog was in a bad way but it all seemed to be about the money not the pet we loved and treasured for over 15 years

Hi Mrs O'Brein, I'm sorry you had a negative experience with us. Out of hours emergency care for pets can be expensive, just as the same service in human medicine would also be expensive, privately. We have a handy article which explains where your fees go which might give you more clarity: https://www.vets-now.com/2018/01/emergency-vet-costs-prices-fees/ - if you'd like us to look into your case in more detail please get in touch with clientcare@vets-now.com - kind regards, Kirsty

Friendly, appeared competent (the priority). Expensive, but that was expected for out of hours service. Would use them again.

Treated our little dog out of hours for an anal gland abscess. He is now well on the road to recovery.

I’m giving one star for the telephone service and one for the vet and nurse that arrived to euthanise my dog. Still feeling very angry and upset at how long it took for the vet ambulance to get to Ashford to collect the vet and nurse. Two and a half hours we waited! My dog had a tumour in her tummy which had burst. We had to wait and watch her get worse and worse. By the time they arrived she was in a terrible state. I don’t believe the vet ambulance driver has priorities right. I’m positive he could have been much much quicker

Very quick to allocate an out of hours vet for us within a 15 min drive. Seen within 5 mins and were Very helpful in diagnosing our gineau pig. Answered questions about charges on phone also so we were prepared for the bill.

Efficient and friendly staff. Took a few visits to sort out my dog and vet seemed reluctant to give specific advice and ask you what you want to do. Probably because of the cost but I'd rather be told what's best for my dog by a qualified professional rather than me making the decision. Very happy overall though.
