“The receptionist and nurse were lovely, they gave great service and let me know what was happening every step of the way. The only downside is the vet that my pet was seen by didn’t really explain much to me, the nurse had to elaborate on what was meant to be said. Other than that everything went as smoothly as I could of hoped for.”

“Can’t praise the vets & nurses at Vets Now in Hemel enough - our poor little Bengal was running a really high temperature and she ended up spending 2 nights with Vets Now - staff were brilliant and really caring - top notch - thank you so much!”

“Merrell who answered the phone, was very helpful, and polite and understanding. The duty vet Adrian was lovely with Sasha and very thorough with checking her medically, and explained everything he was doing to our puppy, And fortunately after the treatment given she was better the next day.”

“I was happy my kitty was able to be seen by a vet and given some treatment as at the time myself and partner were very worried. However I was not happy that the vet seemed to want to rush us out, wrote the notes of what happened on Baloo's file wrong and he seemed really heavy handed when handling Baloo. He didn't speak to Baloo or try to communicate with us much at all, which we aren't used too with his normal vet. Other than that I was relatively happy with the process.”

“Was quoted £700 got a bill for £963 when I went to pickup my dog. The diagnosis was wrong. My own vets were shocked at the charges for what was carried out”

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience with us. It's true that out of hours emergency and critical care for pets is expensive, just as it would be privately for human patients, and our clinical teams are on hand throughout the night and at weekends, whether we treat one pet or several.
