Disappointed with how treatment has been given and advice is vague. No thought is given to circumstances. Night staff were more help than day.

I phoned before I arrived at the vet to say my cat had been ran over. When I arrived nobody knew anything about it. The vet I saw was very nice and sympathetic however the reception staff was not. They were very abrupt and appeared to not care even though I was stood infront of them crying. I waited about 2 weeks and didnt hear anything back in relation to my cats cremation. Therefore I phoned up to be told my cat ashes was there in the reception area. I then received a phone call a short while later telling me the details and results in relation to another pet that was obviously there receiving treatment. I said they had the wrong number and the women practically hung up on me. I phoned back to confirm that had my details and my cats details correct as I didn't want to end up with another pet's ashes. The women again was abrupt and said that my phoned number was 1 didgit different to the one she meant to phone which I felt hard to believe All in all I was very disappointed in the whole service and just wanted to get my cats ashes back. I wouldn't be using the services again.

Correct diagnosis and advice. Missing information on controlled drug that was issued, no informed consent given for the controlled drug. Failed to send information to our own vet despite reassuring that this would be done on Monday. Our own vet raised the complaint with you about the controlled drug.

Support and care for our dog Dizzy on 14 Sept was incredible. We can not thank you all enough for helping her through the night. I don’t think she would have made it without you.

I thought the out of hours charge was inflated & there needs to be more of a variation for the type of out of hours care needed. Our female cat had cystitis but she wasn’t even given antibiotics. She was with the vet for 5-7 mins which cost £200

Lack of understanding of your systems and procedures.

I found the whole service hugely sympathetic and patient given that we knew our dog was very unlikely to return home. We never felt rushed to make any decisions and the Bet and staff ensured that we were fully aware of all the options before, sadly, having to have Charlie our to sleep. While it was a thoroughly awful day, I cannot speak highly enough of the staff who helped.

As an emergency visit with our puppy the staff was really helpful and explained everything in detail and thankfully he made a full recovery.

Vets now were exceptional when we lost our beloved Labrador. We were treated with dignity and given privacy to say our goodbyes in our own time. The whole circumstances were sudden and very distressing and the staff at vets now were u understanding of this and advised us in a way which helped us come to terms with our loss.

Extortionate. We had to ask if there was an alternative way of helping out pet. The vet spent two minutes examining her and then spent the next 15 minutes coming up with an estimate. I would really loathe to use these vets again but it seems if you have an emergency, this is it.

The care my pet received was fantastic and I cannot doubt that. However the company should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves for charging the price they do for a consultation. The price for a consultation, i.e. just to see my dog, was £178. A normal consultation is between £35 and £40. Now I understand that it is out of hours, and I think double the normal cost would be fair. Triple the normal cost would only be £120 and even that is extortionate. Vets now are preying on compassionate animal owners to fund their profits. There is no need for it to be that expensive and I dread to think of how many people simply cannot afford that sort of money for a consultation and their pets suffer. That is not on them, that is solely because of vets now and they should be ashamed of themselves to be perfectly honest. The actual vet on the ground was lovely and clearly cared for the animals, but the management of vets now clearly do not otherwise they would not charge such unnecessary and exorbitant prices.

Misdiagnosed my dog with life threatening results. After 2 appointments less than hour apart and overnight observation told dog had spontaneously developed epilepsy. Told no need for MRI or further investigation. We organised an MRI despite their advice. Transpired dog was in complete heart block and needed pacemaker fitted. Delay had worsened situation. Touch & go whether dog would make it. To top it off felt unfairly overcharged. First visit charged £149.01, 2nd visit 30 mins later supposedly £77.29 but again charged £149.01. Second, when calling when we could pick dog up told 09.00, had been admitted 18.50. On being discharged realised they charge in blocks 7 hours so by saying 09.00 meant they could charge 3 blocks not 2. Finally I noted they charged a 4th block but I noticed their ‘mistake’. Total charges between Saturday evening and Sunday morning £824.86.

Thank you to the vet and nurse on shift that night for dealing with a very unwell, scared and anxious (aggressive!) Malachi cat - I know he's not everyone's star pet but he means the world to me and I know he had 1st class care which potentially saved his life. Thank you!
