“Was absolutely extortionately expensive for what was received. Had to promt vet to check ears, temp etc. Had to wait to see normal vet following day to have any sense. I know was out of hours but massive rip off for a family that couldn’t afford it!!”

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to leave us this review. I'm sorry you didn't have a positive experience with us. It's true that out of hours emergency and critical care for pets is expensive, just as it would be privately for human patients, and our clinical teams are on hand throughout the night and at weekends, whether we treat one pet or several. “I have written a previous review about the vet’s rough behavoiur. However I am also concerned about the amount I was charged. On arrival I was given an estimate of between 250 and 550 as a max. When I paid I was charged 640. On checkout he said ‘you are insured, to which I replied no. He then said oh as if that was a surprise. I beleive that the charges were excessive and they believed I would pass the cost to an insurance company, but I was personally paying for the care of my dog and feel I have been over charged.”

“The vet who check in my dog was very rough with him. He had just had major surgery and I explained he had arthritis and hip displaces. As an example of the thought treatment when taking his temp he just pulled him round by the tail causing his back legs to give way.”

“After a traffic accident we rushed our puppy to this vets during out of hours ... What an amazing vets ... 10000% about our puppy and going out of there way and beyond so save him .... This vets is about the love of animals and not about £££ . I would recomend this vets highly ❤️❤️”

“Treatment of my little dog was excellent. He was thoroughly examined and given an injection. The cost however was exorbitant (£165). Very few people can afford this. Seems immoral to me that people whose pets are suffering can’t go there for treatment unless they can afford £165 consultation fee.”

“Loved the team at Vets Now, Swindon. They attended to Lupa as soon as we arrived and provided an estimate for her care. She stayed in overnight, and we received a phone call from the vet to let us know how she was doing. Thankfully, we were able to collect her the following morning. Than you so much for looking after our baby girl!”
