It's true that out of hours emergency and critical care for pets is expensive, just as it would be privately for human patients, and our clinical teams are on hand throughout the night and at weekends, whether we treat one pet or several. The vet was more interested in getting another £500 fee to sedate my cat and look at her throat rather than actually explaining the issue. After a second opinion I was told it was a throat infection and it cost me £7.89 for 2 antibiotic injections, in comparison to £186 for 1 injection and 2 tablets with little information. Even for out of hours the prices are extreme.

2 stars for the 2hrs that we had to wait in an emergency. The staff where pleasant enough when they were to be seen. There was no sufficient communication from staff, a lack of presence, no air conditioning or air ventilation in a hot and stuffy waiting room and no water for the animals until I asked and even then the other animals needs were not tended to fast enough or at all re: water. Unfortunately, the worst service i've ever encountered.

Hi there, I'm so sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with us. All our clinics operate on a triage basis to ensure we treat the sickest, most critical cases first, which sometimes means other clients will need to wait, particularly if the clinic is busy over night or at the weekend. All our clinical team do their best to ensure pets are seen quickly, and made comfortable while waiting, but occasionally we must ask clients to wait while we treat those pets deemed the most at risk. Really caring with Duke, dealt with swiftly and very professionally. The only reason not to give excellent is the consultation price for out of hours is really high.

Everyone from reception to the vet were extremely professional and put me and my dog at ease from the get go. Very happy with the service. .we're back again ict for check up.

Lost my pug dog but thank you to all the staff who helped me a lot and took great care of the suitation and made me free at ease would recomment they take great care of all animlas needs
