The staff at vets now made us feel confident in them as professionals to help our cat. They were so lovely and it made all the difference. The vet talked us through the procedure and reassured us that everything was going to be fine. He made sure we knew exactly how to administer the medicine and how to look after the wound once we got home. I would recommend this veterinary centre any day as they are great. The actual building it self is super clean and modern. We would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff at the centre.

They seen to my poorly wee dog within 5-10mins of arriving and the vet we saw, I believe her name was possibly Martha, could not have been any nicer to us all & it was very clear to see that all of the staff were genuine animal lovers. The facility itself is easy to find (just off jct 19 on M8) and was spotless and clean with the added bonus of a coffee machine. Would not hesitate to bring Tootsie back here, she was definitely in good hands and they done a fantastic job of fixing her stitches. Martha recommended that we put a small babygrow on Tootsie to prevent her from licking her wound instead of having the cone on and that itself honestly made Tootsie feel a million times better so thank you very much for that tip. We have a much more settled fur baby now, we’ll as settled as can be after having major surgery! 5 stars to Vets Now!

Hi there, I'm very happy to hear this. Thank you for taking the time to leave your review - Rebecca

The price we were charged was extortionate and we felt that the vets were more concerned with getting the money out of us so than with giving our cat the most appropriate course of treatment. We were made to feel guilty for taking him home when they wanted to keep him (for at least another £800), but he has now seen his usual vet and is doing very well.

Hi there, I'm so sorry you feel our prices are too high. We offer an emergency, out-of-hours service which means our dedicated staff work there through the night, at weekends and bank holidays to care for the sickest of pets. This can be expensive which is why we always encourage the highest level of pet insurance possible. Kind regards - Rebecca

I am happy that there is a service available outwith hours, and I think the staff were very friendly. However the facilites are quite tired looking and the cost is ridiculous.

My dog had eaten chocolate and my bill was £269 for her to be made sick. They wanted to keep her in overnight for another £500/600! I agree this service is essential as times do come when your pet cannot wait till their vet opening hours. However the cost is extortionate, £140 just to walk the door!! I feel they are taking advantage of people in a very vulnerable position.

The level of care given to our dog warrants 5 stars but the price was in our opinion somewhat excessive, hence a 4 star review. Our own vets took over at 7am and looked after her for a further 48 hours but charged us a third of what we were charged by Vets Now for a period of 12 hours. I appreciate they treated her initially but still feel it was excessive and more than the maximum quote we had been given when she was admitted.

Hi Robin, I'm glad we were able to help your pet in an emergency. I'm sorry you feel our prices are too high. We offer an emergency, out-of-hours service which means our dedicated staff work there through the night, at weekends and bank holidays to care for the sickest of pets. This dedicated service can be expensive, just as seeking medical treatment for human health emergencies would be without the NHS which is why we always encourage the highest level of pet insurance possible. Kind regards - Kirsty
