The vet kept me updated on my cat's condition several times a day and I was always able to speak to her whenever I called. We received a very professional and caring service.

The emergency service that is Vets Now has been invaluable. Our cats have, in most cases, fallen ill during the emergency hours of evenings or weekends. The care and access to treatment is of a very high standard and in all but one incident, we have had positive outcomes. My ONLY challenge with the emergency service is the price/fee structure. With one incident, our cat was treated initially by Vets Now, then handed to the care of Icknield on the day service. 1 cat = 2 insurance claims which was a bit of a hassle. Prices are high, which would be unaffordable for many if they didn’t have access to good insurance, which I have a general issue with. As such discussions around treatment options have often boiled down to a discussion on cost as opposed to a discussion on what the right course of medical action is, which has been an issue. But overall, we want and need this service so thank you.

The vet was very good with my cats care and I was happy with how she dealt with him but I felt the receptionist wasn’t very friendly and her attitude offended me I understand they have a job to do but when your cat gets hit by a car late at night your thoughts are just to get him seen and I understand that sort of service doesn’t come for free but trying to pay £350 pounds at 2am isn’t ideal. There was never a doubt I wouldn’t settle my bill even if it was the next day. But her overall attitude wasn’t great I will be thinking twice to use haygate out of hours in the future.

Did nothing to help me tried to send me to somewhere they would of cost me £600 pounds at least. Then they charged me £160 for doing nothing - I called to make a complaint was told the situation would be sorted and somone would call me back. Funny enough no one has!! Awful

They were very lovely and fabulous with my parents. But when we got the Bill of £201 just to put our dog to sleep, I felt that was somewhat over priced! I just never understood why we had to pay for a consultation when I had already said our dog was there to be put to sleep.

Before I could get my dog’s lead on and carry her into the garden for a wee the day after surgery on her leg she spotted a squirrel through the slightly open back door and decided to chase it across the back lawn! As it was a Saturday afternoon and my usual vets were closed, I phoned Vets Now as I was worried she may have sustained some damage. The system worked really smoothly from a sympathetic person on the end of the phone who booked the appointment, an instant text messsge with address of where to go, and great staff when I arrived. They checked my dog over and reassured me all was well! It was the reassurance that I needed or I would have been in a state of worry (and guilt) all weekend! Thank you!

The south African lady at reception was lovely, so welcoming and friendly. The vet was very good, and gave Missy a good check over. No one wants to visit a amergency vet, but it was a positive experience, thank you.

The vet we saw has now resulted in two deaths, severely unhappy. I believe this vet killed my chinchilla
