Hi Mrs Randle, so sorry to hear this but very glad we were able to help at such a sad time. Kind regards - Kirsty

Both the vet and veterinary nurse were very caring and tried to make such a horrendous experience slightly more bearable. My only complaint would be the cost as not everyone can afford those prices and much loved pets would suffer because of it. Had I not just been paid i couldn't have afforded to bring my cat and although, devastatingly, he was put to sleep, at least he didn't suffer all night.

Felt the communication was poor! Reception good! I didn’t have insurance and I felt the vets don’t have the skillsor communication to deal with that! I went home and felt I’d been left with a dog to die! Despite me saying I would rather she was put to sleep than suffer! I will go back to a family run vet as I couldn’t even get the ultrasound till 3 days later! 6-800 pounds for overnight fluids and id already spent £430 pounds! and felt left on my own with it! I’m disgusted! No one rang to check and my dog was suffering! Ring back I was told and we can give fluids at £800 pounds a night! I didn’t have that money and because I didn’t my dog was left!!!!

Hi Nicola, I'm so sorry you feel this way. It's true that out-of-hours emergency care can be expensive without insurance. Please contact clientcare@vets-now.com to discuss your case -Kirsty

Very friendly and professional service. Staff kept me updated at each stage of my pet's stay and made sure we were happy with what we needed to do prior to taking them home.

Took a long time to answer the phone, the vet spent less than 10 mins assessing my dog and sent her home in considerable pain. The medication given did not ease her pain in any way and I didn’t feel she was sufficiently thoroughly examined given how much pain the dog clearly was in & didn’t feel we were taken seriously. The charges were astronomical and when compared with other out of hours services were significantly higher and having discussed the medication my dog was given with another vet, I question if the choice of medication was appropriate in light of the dogs age. They did at least see the dog quickly from the time of the call to the appointment and the facilities appeared immaculate and parking was easy but I will not be using again. My dog is still in pain and I will be seeking an alternative out of hours practice for further work up.

Advice given by the vets was very helpful, didn’t feel rushed during appointment and was seen quickly. Prices was expensive, expect it to be more with it been out of hours but £140 just to be seen before treatment is very expensive. Was a bit distressing seeing a dog come in that had been run over and the reseptionist refusing to help because the owners had not brought the right forms. The dog was bleeding and crying on the floor. Would only recommend to a friend if it was an emergency.

The vet that took the time to see us was very sympathetic, honest and gave us all options open which enabled us to make the best decision for our pet. Sadly this meant putting him to sleep but was the most humane thing to do for our pet who had a tumour. We were upset of course but she gave us time to say goodbye and allowed us to stay in the consultation room so we cpuld compose ourselves.

My dog was very sick and they had to put her to sleep but they were amazing. The vet was so kind and explained everything to us. She made the loss of our beloved pet as painless as she could.
