Horrible experience with Verisure - biggest advice to anyone considering having their services would be to STAY AWAY. Do not believe the Trustpilot reviews (if you write a negative review, you've got to provide further information/details within 3 days or else they take it down - can't stay anonymous can you?!). Once you join them, it's nearly impossible to cancel - lies after lies. Customer support team is an absolute joke - they do not help you at all and most of them are scammers. I've had my experience with a bunch of them, only a very few are genuinely sympathetic but they can't do much to help you out. Anyone who wants advice on how to get away from them, I am willing to help you guys out to avoid being SCAMMED by them - get in touch with me please : sol.rosaaa1996@gmail.com Happy to provide further info on MY experience with them too

Alarm installed on the 21/03/2023 it stopped working on 23/08/2023. Rang verysure and was told there was no engineer to fix it for 2and a half weeks ask for a full refund and was told I can't have a refund even though the alarm is not fit for purpose. My advice is stay away

The worst security system ever, a gimmick - This is an assessment of the system after nearly 4 years of ownership. The service appeared okay at first, but it has since become very unsatisfactory for the high price they charge. The alarm has gone off several times due to unidentified problems, not an intruder; one time, they simply blamed the proximity device and replaced it. It simply activated a few times in the early morning hours with no obvious cause. The alarm recently went off when we were away on vacation for an unknown cause, and the alert remained active until we found mobile reception to shut it, which took around 6 hours. In another instance, when the central unit failed to communicate with the monitoring centre, customer service blamed the signal (they send someone over to resolve this and it is kept at the same place it was in earlier with no signal issue) rather than the fact that it had not been monitored for a week; we had no phone calls or visits until we requested them on a call with customer service. These are only a few examples These are just a few examples of poor service that we encountered. Their customer service never admits to the issue and never helps with the necessary procedures to correct it. Instead, continuously look for ways to blame others. Finally chose to walk away from them rather than wait for a live circumstance to discover their poor service to maintaining my family’s security.

ZERO STAR! STAY AWAY!!! DON'T BE FOOLED by Verisure You have probably seen fancy youtube adverts. Please be warned. I feel scammed by a security company! I opened my account in Feb 2022. I paid almost £700 for the devices/Hardware. I was told to keep it for at least 6 months and additionally before cancelling if I wanted to keep the device. At that time, I was told the subscription was for the remote monitoring service. In addition, I initially paid about £35 per month then it was increased to almost £60 per month and air decided to cancel it with the intent to keep the devices as I had kept the subscription for a year and half. Firstly, I contacted the customer service 3 weeks ago and I was informed the cancellation team cannot be called or connected to. They have to call you themselves. I tried over 2 weeks making several calls, Finally someone did last week and the call got truncated. She did not call me back despite knowing your company structure refuses to allow direct access to this team. Furthermore, she informed me that if I wanted to keep my devices, I had to pay another £99. I informed her that when the account was set up, I was informed my the Verisure agent that if I cancelled after September 2022, I did not need any further payments to keep my device and this was part of the reason I considered verisure. I have called the adviser who installed my system and confirmed this was the information I was provided with at setup and he agrees. Verisure makes it almost impossible to cancel a subscription. What an irony to feel scammed by a "security company"! I opened my account in Feb 2022. I paid almost £700 for the devices/Hardware and paid extra for two solar panels. They installed 2 outdoor cameras, an indoor still picture device and a smoke deterrent device. I was told to keep it for at least 6 months before cancelling if I wanted to keep the devices. At that time, I was told the subscription was for the remote monitoring service as payment for the devices was taken upfront. The option to keep the devices was a strong determinant in taking their offer only for me to find out the disingenuous behaviour and dishonesty of Verisure now. In addition, I initially paid about £40 per month then it was increased to almost £60 per month and now I decided to cancel it with the intent to keep the devices as I had kept the subscription for a year and half. Firstly, I contacted the customer service 3 weeks ago and I was informed the cancellation team cannot be called or connected to. They have to call you themselves. I tried over 2 weeks making several calls and after 2 weeks no documented attempt to reach me on their file. Finally someone did last week and the call got truncated mid conversation. She did not call me back despite knowing the company structure refuses to allow direct access to this team instead scheduled another random call for the next day. A few minutes after her call and receiving no call back, I called the customer service to ask to be connected back to her to finish the conversation and again I was told they don't allow that. During the incomplete conversation, she informed me that if I wanted to keep my devices, I had to pay another £99. I informed her that when the account was set up, I was informed by the Verisure agent that if I cancelled after September 2022, I ldid not need any further payments to keep my device and this was part of the reason I considered verisure. I have called the adviser who installed my system and confirmed this was the information I was provided with at setup and he agrees. Verisure makes it almost impossible to cancel a subscription. As if the above is not horrible enough, I was informed today when I called asking for an update that even after paying the £99 to keep the devices, I will no longer be able to see any video feeds from the cameras and the hardware will no longer function except a siren. I explained to the agent that I expected the subscription was for remote monitoring and I could not understand that after paying £700 for hardware which was calculated per item installed and Verisure asking for another £99 to keep the devices, they are shameless in telling me that the cameras would only be dummy devices. The agent happily told me that customers pay all these to keep the devices as "deterrent" even though you can no longer see what the camera sees. This appalling for a well publicised "security company" hiding behind fine lines of contract, unclear and frankly false information provided at installation. I understand I will not have remote monitoring but their idea is non-functioning devices even when you pay to "keep the device". Overall, excluding 18months subscription, Verisure has taken about £750 as hardware money including the solar panels upfront, asks for about £100 again to keep the devices and after all this £850 they offer non functional dummy cameras that would be "deterrents" If this whole horrid information was clear up front I would have run far from this company. It has been money wasted on Verisure with nothing to show for almost £2000 after 18 months of "paying for devices and subscription". Purchasing ring cameras would have far outweighed the money wasted on Verisure. From my experience, I consider them summarily a dishonest company no one should be doing business with. In between the 5star reviews here, you start to see a trend similar to my experience. I regret not researching them on Trust pilot before getting into any agreement with them. If you consider all the above acceptable, no one should blindly be fooled into taking up a contract and make an informed decision.

Worst service imaginable. Twice no-one showed up, 3/4 times when someone did show up they didn't know what they were at my home for. Another time arrived to fit an alarm but didn't have the alarm on the van and the last visit booked for over a month I had to chase in the morning only to be told my stock wasn't in and had to rebook for another 2 weeks.. customer service is absolutely shocking, they have no clue what's going on and one guy (Kristian) tried to palm me off suggesting I keep the equipment and wouldn't have to serve a cancellation period.. Lost out on over a weeks work as had to book time off as did my partner and still having to book more time off due to more promises that my alarm will be fixed this week.... Could go on as this is just skimming the surface but sick of the whole situation.. if you have the chance, buy a different alarm from another provider, I wish I had.

Just like Freda Ou - I can confirm that Verisure is running a racket for clients who wish to cancel. I canceled 7th of July by email and expected this would be the end but apparently, invoices continued to be raised and I must speak with a "manager" in order to process my cancellation. expect they never called and instead I received 5 calls on different days from robots that rang got 2 minutes and then connected confirming "This is verisure regarding your recent issue" Then it said Please holds and after a minute hung up. I had initially suspected this was a racket when they attempted to declare that they called me twice on occasions I had decided to block the number. They even have a process with their customer service team where they talk through how to unblock the customer service number. Customer service is indifferent and rude, they don't care, and they treat you like you should just put up with it. This needs to stop but there doesn't seem to be a body to report them to. Be prepared for stress when it is time to cancel

hello all, i had nothing but hassle from these guys from day 1, poor installation, shody under par equipment, system malfunctions, engineers failing to show, the list goes on, but the main problems come when you want to cancel, they say you can only cancel by telephone and somebody will call you within 5 days to cancel, should you miss this call they take it as you no longer want to cancel and you have to start again, I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY TO EVERYONE READING THIS I WENT TO UXBRIDGE COUNTY COURT IN APRIL MYSELF V DANIEL OLAFE WHO IS THE VERISURE LEGAL TEAM, AND I WON INSIDE AN HOUR. PLEASE IF YOU CANT GET ANYWHERE WITH THESE GUYS ASK FOR ALL YOUR UNREDACTED EMAILS AND ALL YOUR PHONE RECORDS AND GO FOR IT, DONT LET THESE BULLIES HARRASS YOU

I sent email and gave one month notice to Verisure to cancel my contract in June. However, they kept calling and chasing me for money even until August. I have told them I sent the email for contract termination already, they said they didn’t accept email for termination of contract, that was why the contract was not cancelled. I said this was not mentioned in the contract that I couldn’t terminate the contract by email. I warned them if they bordered me again, I would call the police. They handled their customer like thug!

From start to finish been totally poor and pointless conversations.Trying to get anything resolved is a complete joke.paid over £500 then £47 per month wrong information given from the start ,then camera systems very low down ask to get things resolved 3 times nothing called the engineer around 8 times no answer only answer was .Do you want another alarm system for you're sister .Totally disgusting service then got sworn at over the phone from an agent for lying to my self with incorrect information. I would give this company 0 star if I could is really that bad . I've requested for a full refund and for them to remove to all camera systems .

lousy customer service. I've been trying to terminate my contract for two weeks now because I'm closing the shop. Attempts to arrange for disassembly are unsuccessful. I still have no information on what date we are terminating the contract. This is a dishonest practice. When you try to communicate on the phone, they claim there is a weak signal and they don't understand what you are saying. Really pathetic.

Shockingly bad service. I moved into a rented accommodation with Verisure / Arlo cameras installed, and had to call 14 times for my account to be set up - which still hasn't happened 3 months later. The Security Expert scheduled to come to the property to check the cameras did not show up the first time. Having called Verisure to inquire why there was a no-show, response was 'there was a booking error'. The rescheduled appointment with the Security Expert had a similar outcome - another no-show from the Expert, even though confirmation texts and emails were sent to me in advance of the appointment. I will find an alternative company that respects customers time and provides a minimum level of service.

Don’t buy it Their customer service is absolutely bad Had installation done months back , was stressing about being disconnected from it all the time had phone calls or messages stating “call us back “ so often until we lost interest when my hubby called back saying we wanna leave - they sent finally someone to discover everything had batteries missing, placed in wrong location and never able to log to their app 😡😡😡- on top of it we bought extra camera ARLO absolutely unaware of it that have to be bought through them to connect to app and they won’t do nothing to add IP to Their data base to help us 😡 don’t go there choose more customer friendly place

The major problem arose when my mother moved into a Home. The man who arrived to collect the equipment was so abusive that the removal men wanted to 'sort him out', he refused to take the equipment and it took 4 attempts on my behalf to return the goods. I have received a barrage of demands by text and phone calls for money 2 months after the bill was settled and they now have the insensitively to demand a copy of the death certificate. This is 4 months after notice was given of her move. If you are able to withstand harassment at a time when you are dealing with a death of a loved one and the fact that no-one believed me even though I had names and dates of when bills were paid then this is possibly the company for you This company

Extremely poor service. Cameras are rubbish, kept losing charge. Told them 3 months ago to cancel the contract now they are saying the request was cancelled. No one calls you back and as usual no one higher to speak to. Would not recommend.

I've just had a alarm installed by two verisure so-called engineers,six hours later they finished not happy about there fittting and explanations of how to use etc.I also received a phone call today from Verisure they informed me about increase on monertering price's after 6 months

Terrible terrible service!!!! DO NOT USE THEM, 6 months of constant delays and issues and couldn’t fix any. Sometimes the alarm goes off randomly while I’m at home, & then alarm is not activated but get a call that it’s triggered??? Explanations or excuses from VERISURE funnily is WE ARE “NOT VERY SURE” what the problem is 😂😂 Changed the panel, then sorry it’s a software issue? Software is now sorted but now your panel is faulty 🤦🏻 SERIOUSLY!!!!

I have written and emailed asking you to remove all your equipment and have had no response to my letter or email. We are within the 7 days which is what it states in your contract and it seems to me you are doing all you can to wiggle out of it. I have been called twice each time saying that it’s not a problem but nothing happened.

BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS! BEWARE! Absolutely disgusted with this company, they take advantage and completely Mis sold this to my mum. The initial payment was a huge amount of money that was paid in 2 instalments on the understanding she was paying for the equipment and paying a monthly fee for them to monitor the system. After 18 months of deciding she longer would the monitoring as the prices went up a lot they then said they will be coming to collect the equipment!! This is disgusting as I could have bought her the ring alarm system for an awful lot less and for it to be monitored! This is being taken further as you are taking advantage of elderly people and scamming them out of money!! UPDATE Just received a call from these scammers to say he completely understands BS!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not use this company! We have a ring system with every device you can get and cost half the amount they ask for initially for the equipment you will never own. I wish I got this for my mum but instead she is now left hundreds of pounds down and absolutely nothing to show for it. I am heartbroken they have done this to my mum as she doesn’t have much money but wanted to feel safe.

avoid this company at all costs - we started on just under £30/m (which new customers can still get this price) they never contacted us at all whilst continually increasing the monthly payments which we found last week. the price has nearly doubled, their excuse "due to cost of living crisis" - my wife has been promised a call from a manager multiple times and no one ever calls and the support team simply dont care. if you want to cancel you'll be hit with a £99 fee and they will come and rip out the equipment so we'll need to redecorate most of the rooms at even more expense. we are going to cancel the direct debit as we firmly believe they have turned the contract into an "unfair contract" and thus is invalid, and they have also broken the direct debit rules but not informing us of increases. at the moment we paying £600/yr, any such system purchased privately will last 10+ years, so in 10 years we would of paid this crooks £6000 please avoid
