I've had a Verisure alarm for coming up three years. I've experienced lots of issues; some annoying, some minor and some that have been serious eg sensors not being connected and therefore monitored. Along the way customer service has been terrible - everything is hard work and very slow. It's been a poor service for a premium price. Given all this I've decided to terminate my contract at the end of the 36 month term. Despite following the letter of the contract and providing written notice two months in advance, their 'customer resolution' rep told me they cannot accept notice (!!) and I need to call back closer to the end date to cancel and book and engineer to remove the equipment. They're basically in breach of their own contract in what is an obvious ploy to make it difficult to leave. I am now having to go down the legal route to resolve. My advice is to avoid. There are equally as good if not better systems available for less money. I'm moving to one that actually cares about its customers and level of service.

WOW, felt like a timeshare sale!!! Salesman was very pushy with my wife and made her feel very uncomfortable. Until I walked in. He still tried the hard sell, but was trying it with someone who an hour earlier looked online, did some research and discovered about the monthly subscription (the he never mentioned) and the cheap quantity of this equipment. Sent him off and called a reputable alarm company.

Was looking for and alarm and made the mistake of calling verisure. I was sold a managers deal and asked to submit £199 upfront. I decided to pay 100 pounds and I was given an appointment . I was sent an email and then realised that I was going to have to sign up for a subscription of 30 pounds a month which the agent had not mentioned in our conversation. I called the next day to get my money back and I stated that I had not been informed about the monthly subscription. The agent that I spoke to started to become argumentative and stated that I was told that I was told this information. I stated that this was not the case and I would like my money back. He tried to argue and I still asked for a refund. H E slammed the phone down on me and I had to call back and I spoke to a lady called KIRSTY who apologised and said that she would process my refund. I will be waiting for this refund .

This company has a diabolical moral and ethical standard. We have just reported an incident to the police- where a verisure technician had entered our property after speaking with me directly to wait as I was not home. He called half an hour before appointment saying he already there. And I said we were expecting him at half 4 I will be 10 15 minutes . He then called a few minutes later saying that he is there. I said well I am not going to be back for another 10 15 minutes as I’m on the road. And our time expected was 4.30- 6.30pm. We said we would open the door for him when we come back to do his job. Instead this man knocks continuously on the door maybe after seeing a light on or something . And my youngest sister was home - who is unable to make any decisions about the work or even know what work is to be carried out. He lies and tells her that he had spoken to me regarding coming into the house - when the specific instruction was to wait until the appointment time for my return. He said he was happy to wait. Instead he comes in - how thick can someone be does he not know any rules or principles to enter a customers house? If we said we are coming back shortly and told him wait . Why would he force his way in? My sister being very young, believed his statement that he has already spoke To me and let him in to do his work . He did not check her age or check with me that it would be okay to go to the property. Because he knows he was supposed to wait. We did not permit him to enter the house as no decision makers or owners are there. Work should not be carried out. When my sister called asking what he is supposed to do. We stayed on the line to make sure my sister was safe for those 8 minutes on our journey back to the house. When we returned home we asked him why he did this. He lied again and said he thought the young girl who opened the door was the owner - he thought a young kid owned the house ? And she doesn’t know a thing about his appointment or what work is to be Carried out? Further more he made up some other stupid things to try and validate what he clearly did. This is completely unacceptable and very serious to do something we have said not to. Lots of things are happening to young girls all over london and outskirts - there is no way that we would allow him in the house alone with only my youngest sister there. We always have two of us in the house for any outsider service. She is not even a decision maker so how could he start working with out asking her age and go against what he was instructed by the client and owners. When I called verisure to report them thinking that they would take it seriously they did not. Instead they started to patronise us and we’re reluctant to even admit how wrong this was. This is highly immoral disgusting attitude they have to not take this seriously. They hire anybody looking to earn and care about the commission. And only train them to interrogate patronise and BULLY people into buying their extortionate unethical service and equipment. We will be making sure this is fully logged complaint and and make sure that they take responsibility for their actions. And responsibility for the simple fact that this man entered our house when he was told not to and that this man entered a house which a very young looking girl had opened the door and been home alone. This is a serious offence and needs to be addressed. In another instance anything could happen and it only takes one second for something very serious to happen to young girls.

I have tried for weeks to get some cameras added on to my account this is proving impossible with this company. I have there alarm system and just wanted some extra cameras added a simple job you would think not for these. There customer service is extremely poor and they don’t care about there customers at all I’ve put my cancellation in ive only been with them 3-4 months and I’ve been trying for the last 2 months to get cameras ive lost all my trust in them and for the money they charge I’m going to go elsewhere with people who don’t lie and let you down constantly.

Misleading. Terrible. Do not use. The sales man was full of misleading information and lies. When you come to cancel, that's where all the issues start. Wish I'd have read all these terrible reviews before, because it seems like everybody ends up in the same boat.

I don't know where to start:- 1. Pressured into going into a contract 2. Told can cancel but need to wait 6 months cancellation period- this is not the case, no where in the contract mentions the procedure of the cancellation. Email is not acceptable, someone from Verisure needs to verify the cancellation by calling you then they can't get through to you after few attempts (which doesn't get mentioned on the email initially sent by us). Then start the whole process again, then wait again for a call, then being told the account named person needs to do this. When calling them they say this is the procedure and have to wait for a call. This so called procedure does not get mentioned anywhere on the contract nor on an email sent to them. So you miss out on the 6 months period and has to restart Everytime they can't get through to to verify. Milking customers out of £52+ a month. Disgusting, they highly speak of themselves and bad mouth ADT. I can even find an address where a written cancellation can be sent. Redicilous. Very bad and disgusting experience.

A total scam they must be avoided at all costs. They told me I must have wifi? So i went and got 4G sim only wifi with EE only to be told at my home that it must be a fixed line wifi and that I must have a SMART PHONE linked to their network, then Eduardo told me that verisure DO NOT MONITOR HOME INTRUSIONS nor do any of their cameras have LOW LIGHT EXPOSURE, nor do they call the Police, instead they would call me and for me to ring the police, Their cameras are BATTERY OPERATED then he accused me of being mentally ill however he was soon grovelling and attempting to lick my a%$e when he went into my front room and saw on the mantlepiece my medals, HM Armed Force Veteran status as he realised that I am a retired Special Forces Commando. I am now paying £20 pcm for 2 years for wifi contract I will NEVER USE! So, in essence versisure protect the criminals and leave their clients at greater risk than before VS were ever heard of! I have reported them to the ASA, National Fraud hotline, National fraud serveilance centre whilst at the same time speaking with a legal firm about a possible case of attempted financial fraud and defamatory comments; I will not let this scam of a company target anyone else if possible!

Verisure sales tell you one thing but the actual small print and customer service is much worse. You do not buy the equipment but it is leased. So when you cancel the monitoring they take the equipment away unless you pay more. They mis sell so don't buy from them. Go to simplisafe much better as you can pay for monitoring and stop and start any time

Beware horriblecompany scams/breach of data protection act! The gentleman who happily fitted and sold me this service was completely lyingin every word.1.    He told me that the equipment will be mine if I everwill decide to terminate the contract which is completely false as I wasreading throw the whole contract after he left me and there is not anyinformation about this.2.   He said that I can cancel thesubscription at any time, and the alarm still works as a smart alarm. They justdon't monitor it in their center, that was his words. 3.   He also assured me that there is notany cancelation charges or contract and I should treat it as a subscriptionwhich I can cancel any time with 1 months’ notice. 4.    He lied andmanipulated, forced me to install an alarm at my home( the initial alarm systemwas arranged only for business), motivating me that I would actually receive onlyone collective invoice for both places, which I have the right to include inthe company's costs without any problems. This is also not true.5.    He alsolied to me about the monthly charges. I asked him several times if he is surebecause in my opinion is quite cheap.  Unfortunately, when I received the first invoices I realized the costs are just like he said, but plus 20%VATwhich is giving a huge difference in total monthly spending for 2 differentplaces.6.    Hewanted me to sign something on his iPad being in rush to make sure I will notread everything correctly.  Be careful when listening to the salesmanbecause they always lie to your face. The words you hear inyour house will not be the same words that are written on paper.  The camera pictures arevery poor quality but in their opinion, that is enough to recognize the thiefif even I am unable to recognize my face!  Their"contracts" are poorly designed picture diagrams with caveats, tickboxes and clauses that will, over the course of your contract, completely screwyou over. After few months Irealized that my monthly invoices raising every month, so I made a phonecall to the billing department with this query. The gentlemen from Customer Service arguing methat I agreed with that signing contract with them. I wanted him to point mewhere exactly in my contract is information about raising monthly costs. Ichecked my email and I realized that I am unable to view any of the initialcontracts signed with Verisure as each time I am trying to open the file thereis information ’’403  E000101Accessdenied The process you are trying to access has been closed’’.The Customer Service adviser told me that sometimes that is happening whenthe error occurs opening the contract. I said that I need to see my contract toreview that information. In this case, I requested the Customer service Adviser to send me mycontract again by email as I am unable to view it. And I received it! Ireceived a completely different person’s contract! Including all sensitive andprivate details such as a full address, name, date of birth contact number, and eventhe signature of the ‘poor’ person whose all personal details have been easy andwithout care forwarded to me. Also, there are passwords of this person, contactdetails to the closest family and everything!!! I am having this piece of a fileand I am really considering what should I do with this matter. If the customer service adviser was able to provide me by ‘mistake’ that verysensitive and confidential details of somebody else twice so I do not want toimagine what they can do with my details and each of you if you are theircustomer! It isunbelievable, how thiscompany is deceptive and how it can manipulate people.  Nowadaystrust in the company is one of the most important values. I will never trustthem anymore and I advise you to do so.  I haveenough evidence that I have been given very personal/sensitive and privateinformation of completely someone else and I also have evidence that I wasdeceived from the very beginning.Does this company deserves to be trusted, paid, and relied upon? It is a completemistake and absurd!  PeoplePLEASE think twice before signing the contract with them. Theseare just my personal experiences but I can see that there are many more peoplecheated, stretched, and treated in the same way.

i would just like to let people know that verisure are lying and misleading people i was told that after i have purchased my alarms system i have to have the monitoring for three months at £33 a month then i can cancel giving three months notice after that time the system is mine to do what i want with, however this is not true when you try to cancel your told they will come and take all the system back so you NEVER actually own anything total cost £440 for nothing i think everybody should know this and that the engineers that fit the system mislead and lie. and the so called free door bell is taken back also so its NOT free. many thanks

They are ok whilst in service, yet the moment you want to cancel, harassment begins and stalling tactics. I was informed when initially enquiring that there was a 1 month cancellation notice period where I duly served it, yet rather than dealing with their staff providing false information they are trying to extort money out of me and stalling and stressing and harassing me. Emails and calls have been ignored for months so that they can whittle down the suspension period and claim that I need to pay for the notice period. The worst customer service experience I have ever had and the staff will not even provide their surnames. You should be able to trust your security provider!

Misleading sales team who force the product and service on you without mentioning it's a 3 year contract. Not transparent when dealing with them. For instance you cannot speak directly to the cancellation team and the customer support and cancellation team can give misleading and conflicting information

I have just had the home alarm installed, the gentleman that did it named Adam Dibble was fantastic, he was polite and professional, explaining everything clearly. He installed everything without making a mess. I got a free doorbell camera and he offered to install it if I needed any help. I did need help and I emailed him, the following day he was round and installed the whole thing without any problems. He also ensured I had the app downloaded and it was all set up correctly. Great service and fantastic customer service. Definitely going to be recommending this company to my friends and family.

Verisure Business system I spoke to verisure in December 2019 arranged a date to come and do the survey for our business to see if they can provide system which is compatible with our needs. Verisure Company Rep came on time, I advised him we have got currency exchange within the premises so we need grade 2 system or above system. He looked everything and said yes we can supply you something which is find for your business and offered me a deal.He was praising his system so much saying its NSI gold so you wont have any issue. I advise to them i have contract with secom where i will have to give them a month notice. After 2 weeks down the line sales guy from contact centre rang me saying we can offer you even better deal, At that point i accepted the deal and arrange a date for the installation and cancelled my existing supplier contract. I arranged the install date in such a way so in that time period my secom contract would end as well and the new contract with Verisure starts. I paid £100 deposit to secure the installation datr. Now here comes the installation date. The installer came and started opening the boxes to install. After 15 min he got someone from the head office to monitor his work, As soon as he came and notice we have currency exchange and he started making calls. After 10 mins he came to me and said sorry we cannot install the system as your insurance of currency exchange will not cover if we were to install this system !!!! I explain to him i have cancelled my Alarm from tomorrow and if you dont install it, i will not have any alarm from tomorrow and i wont be covered under my insurance. He said the system you need for your insurance should be grade 2 or above. when i mentioned about sale, he advised that the sales rep had lied to you and we cannot install system. I was fuming as my business was at risk. When i spoke to Secom they said we cannot reactivate the alarm as the cancellation process has gone through and we will have to treat you as new customer and it can take upto 3 weeks. It has been a week and i have not got even my deposit back and not heard from them at all. No apologies letter nothing. I will make sure I will recover every penny when my alarm is back up and running and the in-convince and the stress which you have caused us. For any businesses, please be aware of these liers who will come to your door and try and sell you something which is a complete lie. After investing, i even found out that the alarm is not NSI gold, neither it is grade 2 system nor it has level 1 police response. NO No NO for Business.
