I bought Stolen Goat bib tights and long sleeved top which are great and I really enjoy wearing. However, I ordered them on a Monday, hoping they would arrive in time for my first sportive on the upcoming Saturday, based on the website saying "2-3 days delivery". Unfortunately, it took a couple of days before I received a mail to say they were going to take longer. In the end, they arrived whilst I was doing the Sportive, but if I'd known they weren't going to arrive on time, I would have probably chosen different products that were able to be shipped before my event. This won't put me off using you again, but I will need to think more carefully if I want things to arrive more quickly in the future.

Dear Denise - I'm so sorry your order wasn't with you by the time you needed it. You're right that we would usually have had an order like yours delivered in time for the weekend, but unfortunately we have to order in certain products from our suppliers in order to offer as broad a range as possible. This is why we cover ourselves with our '2-3 days to dispatch' (rather than delivery) wording*. In many cases we do get packages out more quickly than that, but it looks as though at least part of yours will have been ordered in. I hope your sportive wasn't made harder than it needed to be without your new kit! And thanks so much for the vote of confidence that you would come back to us again. Really love the colours and the whole ethos of the product, loved my bib shorts until my partner commented that she could tell what underwear I was underneath..now I’m really paranoid about flashing my rear..

Hi, Mel - thanks for your review, and sorry about the surprise element. For what it's worth, we should just remind you that wearing underwear under bib shorts tends to limit the effectiveness of the comfort that the pad and material provide (you may well be aware of this already). Could that be part of the issue here? The material is deliberately stretchy and will show the shape of anything worn underneath. I hope that helps? Best regards, The Vixens x

It was my first purchase and took 7 weeks to receive my proper shorts after receiving a faulty pair two times in a row. Although this experience itself was not favourable at all, I hope it was just a one-off misfortune and would use VeloVixen because their product range is great and I want to support their business.

Having looked into it, it does seem like an unfortunate coincidence that things went wrong twice, so I can only apologise that you were on the wrong end of faulty shorts at all, let alone twice! I love VeloVixen but on my latest purchase some tech hitch made it look like my basket hadn’t emptied despite the order going through, and that resulted in several emails offering discount if I checked out. Felt a bit cheated as if I’d dithered I would have saved money. I did raise the issue but only got confirmation of order. Bit of a shame really. My order did arrive promptly and was as expected - just full price! I would suggest not offering the discount to unprocessed baskets.

Site is good. Products wer a gift well received. They were very delayed which is understandable right now but poor communications about this delay was less understandable.

I bought 3 season socks for my daughter. She has been wearing them, 2 socks on each foot and says she still has cold feet.A better description would have helped.

Really pleased with the product selection and the product itself but when I tried to buy 2 products in the same session it charged me for postage twice. Couldn't work out why so gave up and got the second product elsewhere. Shame as it wasn't really what I wanted!!

I bought the new stolen goat items but the material was not as warm as I hoped and I returned it. Delivery also takes longer than Wiggle, so I was waiting longer than I had anticipated. I love the look of the clothes although the models you use are not body-shape/colour diverse. It feels quite an elitist sight mostly for riders who ride with clubs. (I am a Breeze Champion so lead rides for 100s of women, and most are not reflected on your website.) I love the concept and visiting the stalls at some of the early Cyclettas.

The service wasn't great, even with allowances made for current times. Order was not dispatched and got 'lost' in the system. One item wasn't in stock, and I had to chase this up again a couple of weeks later. Whole order took several weeks to arrive. As much as I like to support small businesses, they are competing, and didn't did well in this case.

I would like to buy more from you but I struggle to find the choice. I resist buying from China site (light in the box) but they do have a variety. Can we not do something like that with quality being the drive. Thank you Barbara

I'm a little unsure about what you mean exactly... is it choice of brands, product types, sizes...? Our small team beavers away night and day trying our darnedest to give as wide a choice as we can, but as a family business we are at the opposite end of the spectrum from the massive multinational retailers. So we do operate within limitations. We are certainly hoping to continue expanding our collection as time goes by.
