The delivery, returns and refund process was good, but I was sent a faulty item

After waiting a month for my order I was sent the wrong size. It was replaced quickly but I wanted a refund by this time. Then when I returned both items I was not refunded the full amount! So far I have not received a response to my query regarding this. Not impressed

Very disappointed with my order. I bought two items for my mums birthday and I was sent the wrong size of shorts. When asking for the right size they told me they had none in stock. No other alternatives were advices eg different make. I asked for my money back, which I had to chase up twice in order to get back. They only thing offered was a 15% discount on my next shop. I find this very poor service

Hi, Emma - really sorry to hear we've let you down this time. We've been under huge pressure with the demand for cycling kit of late, and very short on pairs of hands, but that doesn't excuse not getting it right. We sent the clothing back and you received it over a week ago and as yet we have had no response. The top stated medium but it was to small, we have asked for a large in a different colour. When we contacted you, the comment was, there are only two people here the rest have been furloughed and we have been experiencing high demand. If that is the case don’t you think you should take more staff off furlough and provide a better service. Even if that means working shifts to protect your staff. Regards Denis Brophy

Hi, Denis - sorry it's taking a little longer than we'd like. We're going as fast as we can, and as you'll be aware exchanges with any sized company will often take a couple of weeks or more. We generally like to do it faster than that, but we're both already working all hours. Liz, our furloughed employee, can't leave our 2 children at home alone and employing somebody else is obviously not possible at the moment. We'll get to it as soon as we can. One thing to mention is that if you want a different colour (rather than just a different size), we will need to refund you and you will need to place a separate order. There was no update information when the item would arrive & when it did it was packaged like they didn’t care. The plastic bag the top arrived in looked dirty & looked like it has been in a warehouse for months. Nice top, but I wouldn’t order from velovixen again as there are better companies out there selling the same products

Hi, Katie - sorry about this, it definitely sounds unideal! We're normally scrupulous about sending things out in perfect condition, so it looks like this may have slipped through the net, but that doesn't help you in this situation. We're glad to hear you've found companies you prefer, however, so you won't be short of cycling gear.

I’m still waiting for my jersey. I ordered on 20/1. Your website states that items are dispatched within 2 days! No update, no explanation for delay. It should state unavailable or update you customers if you don’t have items in stock. Not good enough. My last order I had to chase as well after 2 weeks of waiting!!

Hi, Sarah - sorry about this. It's been a rather unusual week - we turned off our site on Monday lunchtime, having been assured it would switch to the new set-up within an hour or two, and only came back on with our new site at the end of the working week. Apologies for not letting you know, needless to say we've been buried! Your order will be heading out tomorrow.
