Founded in 2017 by husband-and-wife duo Steve and Abi, Vaunt Design is the product of an unrelenting passion for Nordic-inspired quality homewares.

The pair have developed and nurtured fantastic relationships with incredibly skilled craftspeople from around the world, resulting in beautiful, hand-crafted creations that you won't find on the shelves of larger, mainstream stores.

“Absolute shambles of a company - unprofessional, unhelpful and zero customer service when it comes to refunds and customer rights. I purchased 3 stools and did receive the items quickly. However, when I opened the first box, I noticed there was damage to the leg. I emailed Vaunt straight away and was informed that they could replace but on the website, it said June, which didn't work for me as I needed something straight away. I politely refused and sent pictures (as requested of the damage) to request a refund. This is where the tone changed. I did not hear anything thing for a week, and when I called Steve (Managing Director) he told me my email was in 'Junk'. I informed him that I had emailed Sam with pictures and a reply from his colleague Sam, so not sure why it would end in Junk. This is where the tone changed. Despte telling me he will get it 'sorted' I was asked to pay for the return of the items, I informed Steve (Managing Director) that the item is damaged and not as described. He then emails me to say that he will charge me for one of the stools but not the two others! I explained that the return should be covered due to the item being damaged. Furthermore, the all 3 were delivered as one and should be returned as such. It is now been over 3 weeks and I still have the stools and no refund. Really unprofessional and I will be seeking legal action under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.”

“The product itself was fine, although it is a different brand being sold under this shop. The service however was very poor. Order was made on 29 April and since it has not been dispatched I asked for an updated on 5 May. On 9 May I received a reply stating: " I believe our shipping company have had some delays at the depot." On 10 May I received a dispatch note with no tracking number. On May 17 still no delivery, so contacted the company again asking for a tracking number, Which I received together with the following message: "Our portal shows that a delivery was attempted yesterday, and another will be attempted today." This was not on the tracking page though and was completely untrue, as no attempt of delivery was made on that day. Finally received the parcel the day after that. Way too much waiting for some espresso cups.”

“I was very happy dealing with Vaunt Design. The large Kerala Moroccan lampshade I ordered was beautiful, but unfortunately was too big for my hall space (my mistake in measuring.) There was no problem in sending the item back. The firm was helpful and efficient throughout. I would recommend using them”
