“There is no doubt that Vanessa Arbuthnot has fabulous fabrics. It was a joy to recently receive a load of cushions carpets and pouffes I had ordered for a house I am furnishing in Scotland. The icing on the cake is that they also have great customer service. I phoned up today to ask how quickly they could despatch an order and they did it straight away. When I got off the phone and checked my email I had not only an order confirmation but also despatch confirmation - doesn’t seem that difficult but sadly for many companies it is! A total pleasure to deal with - I highly recommend this company!”

“Staff were very helpful at confirming my calculations and very pleasant during pre order telephone conversations. However, unfortunately there were problems with the fabric I received. The repeat was approx 2cm larger than stated in website, meaning that more fabric was really needed. Luckily, I have made curtains before, so was able to adjust my plans slightly in depth of hems, plus I found that they had given me slightly extra when cutting. However, I only JUST had enough fabric and would have been short if they had given me exactly what I ordered. The plain piece for upholstery had a mark (but I was able to place where this was hidden). Of course, I may have been just unlucky, but it is possible that they might benefit from a quick re-evaluation of their quality control.”

“There was an initial hiccup when the 10 metre length wasn't available. However this was resolved to our advantage. Everything came speedily but we didn't receive any notification of delivery day and hour as expected. The parcel was put over the gate and fortunately was protected by the adequate packaging.”

“if you have a fabric addiction as I do, you will find every piece of Vanessa's fabrics delicious. I love the colours and everything goes with everything. The linen is hard wearing and lovely to the touch altho may fade in direct sun... but I even like that! It makes home look richly loved.”

“I trusted Vanessa to deliver exactly what I saw and having had fabric before, I knew the quality would be good, so I didn't even order a sample, just the quantity I needed. The fabric is outstandingly beautiful. The delicate print surpasses even the online photos. The colours subtle and exactly what is called for. Arrived quickly. Couldn't be happier. XX”

“Super service - here very quickly. Super quality print very true so easy to cut. Brain ached a bit matching pattern when adding 1/2 width until I realised pattern was diagonal (songbirds ) Looking forward to curtains being finished actually wanting rainy days for sewing.”
