About Urban Cooling:

At Urban Cooling, we have been installing all types of air conditioning solutions into residential, commercial, retail and leisure premises for over 20 years.

We specialise in providing air conditioning to buildings which otherwise cannot have it. With our solutions, buildings such as apartments and listed buildings can have the same standard of air conditioning as conventional systems provide, without the need for an external unit.

Operating within the M25, we undertake installations across all London postcodes.

“Had 2 air con units installed. Relieved to be able to have a home that can be used year round and can have air con without external condenser. The condenser was installed in a hall cupboard which is far enough away from the other rooms to not be able to hear it churning away. The actual air con units were Panasonic and work as you’d expect. Quiet enough to be able to sleep with it running and controlled through tv Panasonic all (also wired in bedroom and hand held controller in living room). Yes it’s expensive but my home was unbearable in summer so I consider it an investment. The installers knew what they were doing despite being a tricky install with the amount of room they had to install the condenser. Overall I’m happy with the install and results.”

“Appalling ! Has cost me over 2 thousand pounds to redecorate after the diabolical mess left. Randomly situated the units in unsightly positions in the rooms . One unit after under 4 months had come away from the wall . Have been back 3 times to correct matters and nothing has actually been corrected Do not use this company!!”

Dear Judy, Thank you for your review. We have to be honest with you as we always have been from the beginning, your system was particularly hard to install due to the solid concrete walls within your property, we had to make more access areas to pull the pipework to the correct places of which in turn left more decoration works required at the end of the installation. However, as per our quotation, you were faced with the original quoted price of £600 for the redecoration works and in fact, it was us as a company that absorbed the additional cost by our subcontractor decorator. So we do not understand why you have stated you paid over £2,000 to redecorate. With regards to the randomly situated units, this is also very odd as we discussed the locations with you during the survey, and again prior to installation, the installation team installed them in the positions of your choice. Unfortunately, a wall-mounted unit has come away in one corner as the pipework is very tight due to the structural beam directly behind it, however, we have offered to come back and remedy the issue at our cost as all our installations come with a full 5-year labour and parts warranty. We are very sorry you felt compelled to write a negative review, we have offered to return and sort any issues, so not sure what else we can do. Regards Tony Ellerker

“I had air conditioning (with a water cooled condenser so no outdoor box) installed in my high rise flat. Mark and the team did a phenomenal job. Installation went by quickly in 1 day and with extremely minimal patch up work required. I wish I had done the installation sooner! The units are very high quality Panasonic ones, wifi connected and compatible with Google Home, Alexa, etc. so I can set the temperature as I am heading home from work. I have had the units for a year bow. I can’t recommend them enough!”

“I am staying in the top floor unit. It was something unbearable during the heat wave last year. I decided to look for an A/C for this summer. I have called for 3 A/C companies to quote. - Urbancooling came with the most competitive quote. I would say it is quite reasonable. We are from HK and so we know how much a A/C should cost - Only one with a demo setup to show how the system works - Hotlines is always responsive I have to give credit to Lisa, Ian and Gary's team, wonderful experience working with them. No hesitation to recommend Urbancooling to anyone.”

We are very sorry that you felt the after service was not up to your expectations. Having looked into what happened I understand that we were trying to arrange with our decorating contractor a suitable date to go to your property to touch up after the installation. But with the long Easter weekend in the way our contractor could not get to you when it was convenient, so you used your own contractor. We do state on our quotation that any decorating works are through a sub-contractor we use and not employed directly by us, payment for any decorating works are direct to the decorator and that any customer is able to use their own prefered contractor should they require.

“Very pleased with the water cooled system installed in my flat, makes a big difference! Can’t wait to really see the benefits when the weather warms up. Been a pleasure to deal with Mark and Lisa throughout and the guys who came to install were very friendly and professional and got the job done quickly. Slight issue with the temperature output when installed but somebody was out to deal with the problem straight away and it’s been perfect ever since. Can happily recommend. Thanks!”

“I have been wanting air conditioning in my two bedrooms in an apartment for a number of years, however living in a conservation area made this impossible until now. I decided to have a Panasonic water cooled system with the condenser unit fitted in the utility cupboard connected to wall mounted units in each of the bedrooms. The whole installation was carried out very neatly, and the system works very effectively and is quiet. I thoroughly recommend Urban Cooling for anyone who wants air conditioning, and can now look forward to the summer!”

“Very satisfied with the job they have done! Very friendly and professional team. The job was planned for 2 days but they have worked hard and completed the job in one day. We recommend them to any one need the Air conditioning in their flat. Also the customer service is amazing, from day one until the end. Lisa was very helpful and always she have promptly replied to all my questions. I will recommend the Urban Cooling to all my friends.”

“We had a really hot apartment in London and were looking for fully internal systems. After discussing options with a number of companies, we chose Urban Cooling. I really appreciated the in person survey so they could see the space and we could discuss install and expectations. Now the system is in, we can't believe how we have lived without it. It cools our whole place to very comfortable temperatures, even our very big main space. Our smaller rooms get really cold which has been amazing with the recent sticky nights. The install team were great: careful to always ask for feedback if we were happy and so on. They left the house tidy after they finished each day. Mark promised me that we would not see any mess or pipework post-install and he was true to his word. Literally all that is visible is the wall mounted units in each room. I am so glad I did this and delighted with the results now it has been installed.”
