“The website/ordering was great to use from start to finish but the quality of the PDF image ordered was not good, I work in graphics and I expected the PDF maps to be a quality vector file, not a low-resolution picture file. I would have given it 5 stars if the maps had been better quality.”

“Never had need of a planning map before so a new experience to me. Easy to order. Had a query about the scale when printed on A4 so gave them a ring. Got straight through to someone but they couldn't get hold if anyone who could clarify so took my details for someone to get back to me. Pleased to say that they did get back to me the same day (because I'd already made the purchase I half expected not to hear from them) and not only understood my issue but gave a clear and succinct explanation of how to ensure the correct scale was achieved. Will use them again if I have the need. Instant download.”

“I was required to submit a location plan for a planning application to my local authority. The authority's requirements were complex and to me, as a layman, obscure. Evelyn at UK Planning Maps came to my rescue. She was prompt and efficient. The £11.00 cost for the initial map was acceptable. However, I would recommend paying a little more to purchase the service that allows frequent amendments as, after each submission, the local authority revealed further requirements.”

“Had problems initially trying to draw round my location, I wished to highlight. There was no zoom in option, however control mouse scroll helped, this was not entirely accurate. Could do with generally, making a zoom option and making the drawing ability a little more accurate/less laggy when trying to draw. How ever after at least half an hour was able to get there and editing the diagram. Hopefully we will gain our planning permission with the diagram, thank you overall.”

“Drawing the lines on the map to show an extension was like using software from 1980! The spots that you have to click on kept jumping back to their original positions. And the lines I did manage to draw didn't join up when I had passed the editing phase! It should allow you to zoom in to get a decent line, and not snap-to-grid. Of course, you can turn that off...then get a wonky line! VERY Poor.”
