Claims are 'lost' even when posted online, very unclear how much you are able to claim in any given period, communication poor when wanting to understand the processes.

I’ve had a tough time 3 times now I’ve submitted a claim and it hasn’t went through. I’m not happy with the service and have proof I’ve sent them with screen shots and photos yet nothing ever comes of it

Very poor communication claims sent in and not processed. Claim forms sent with half the form missing. Far better customer service years ago as Hospital Saturday. Hence direct debit cancelled.

A claim was made and we received just a small payment. No great service received by this company.

Dreadful. Two claims submitted, one for me and one for my wife. Mine paid, my wife's not. I queried and was told that "my colleague missed my wife’s claims from your previous email .... I have now processed these" These being two amounts, one examination and one fillings. One amount only received, which wasn't either of the amounts claimed. Queried by email on 7th February - no response so far (14 February)

unimpressed by the service to date - having tried to contact by phone and email around qualifying period without response or success as an initial enquiry as part of the application; queries were around relevant treatment and how that is defined since it implies a specific health/medical term not for routine prescriptions: applying 13 weeks across all benefits makes it impossible to claim during this period so how is the premium charged explained/justified during that period?

I do not have any NHS benefits for dental treatment that cover these services. Because of this, I pay insurance to cover these costs. I do not see why my claim should be denied if my insurance covers treatment in a private practice under the conditions offered to me.

I am really disappointed with the lack of clarity around a family plan. I assumed it would be on the same policy but my wife has a separate one. I had no idea she had a separate policy number as I received no documents confirming that. It was not until I submitted a declined claim for my wife on my policy number that this was flagged up. Pleasingly, when I challenged this they processed the claim but I still have not received an official letter for my wife that I have for my policy. This needs to be made a lot clearer as the communication around this was really poor. Our organisation has moved from the BHSF plan and their system seems much, much smoother.

I am extremely disappointed with the delayed reimbursement for my UNISON Dental Plan, which I underwent in November. Despite joining the plan a few days prior to my initial appointment at the NHS dental center, I have yet to receive any reimbursement. I would appreciate it if this matter could be investigated and resolved as soon as possible.

Painful to deal with. Wish I could opt out of this work supplied insurance. Terrible

Not worth even trying to use the services this company claim to provide. Shame it’s provided by work and I can’t opt out and get a fiver back as that would be more useful. Would put zero if I could.

Firstly, I was not advised that you had changed your Claim Form format and the address to send in a Claim. My claim was returned by the Post Office with some documents cut through. When I complained to yourselves about the change in forms/address I was told that new forms would be sent to me. After THREE weeks I rang again asking about forms and was told to print them off the net! Why wasn't this said previously? I have now submitted a claim (on behalf of my wife) and filling it in was not as easy with the new form as it had been with the previous one. Receipts were submitted but I received an email, part of which stated "as your policy is split between a dental maintenance & dental treatment benefit we would need a breakdown to be provided which shows the treatments carried out for each receipt." This is the FIRST time this have ever been mentioned and I've held and claimed on this policy for well over 15 years! I tried ringing Customer Service but the lady was not at all helpful and the phone line at her end was very bad. I would certainly think twice before I'd recommend your company to anyone. All I wanted was a fairly simple claim sorted - consultation and scale & polish only nothing major - but you have not been helpful.

I sent an emailed query with two questions: (1) level of cover I had, and (2) whether certain things were covered. No response, had to chase up a reply. In eventual reply, Question (1) answered but (2) ignored.

I have contacted UK Healthcare on several occasions about an optical claim. On my 5th attempt, I was told I had claimed the maximum for this year, when in fact I haven't even made a claim this year. Very poor service

Terrible service. I submitted my online claim a week ago and when I rang to query why I hadn't received my payment I was told they hadn't received it?? I was then told to resubmit it and when I asked if confirmation would be sent to to confirm it had been received I was told they couldn't do that. I was given all sorts of excuses including that I'd submitted my claim on the wrong system even though I've made numerous claims using the same system. Absolutely shocking service! And when I asked to speak to the manager/supervisor I was told she was off today!! Really! I have now got to submit my claim again. Let's see what excuse I'm given when I don't receive my payment within 48 hours.

Awful. They do not tell you if they are not paying your claim. Cover very limited. I have a medical condition they said was not covered. If i didnt get most of it paid for from my employer I would not use them. Very disappointed.
