Since researching the best healthcare packages for me, I contacted UK Healthcare and was immediately responded to from a very helpful Sales Manager, Andrew, who gave me all the information and support I required to set up my cover. Once I had sent over my completed application form, my policy documents and confirmation were sent over that same day! Thank you

The admin system appears to be very manual, if a change is made to your corporate contract, it doesn’t appear to have been communicated to their staff. They will reject claims, and you then need to argue this, until the person goes and checks and realises that the contract had changed and you’re actually eligible for a payout. This month they’ve been very slow to respond, I made a claim on 5th Jan and still hadn’t got the money back. I’m just getting a generic response that it’s been forwarded to some other team, then weeks of silence.

Having submitted a claim over three weeks ago and twice supplying the info they required l am now being asked for more info showing exactly what l have supplied. Not impressed if this is the norm every time a claim is submitted. This company is certainly not recommended ....useless.

My employer failed to register me on the correct level of cover. Been on lower level of cover for 2.5 years with no way of knowing what level of cover had been registered - no notification from employer or UK Healthcare. UK Healthcare made aware incorrect level of cover at same time claim was made. Paid out on claim for eye test and glasses at incorrect level despite being registered on correct level all within 30 days of original claim made. Disappointing. No way to check on your ‘account’ what level of cover registered, claim limits, what claims have been paid out and what balance on claim limit is. Clunky process and system for making claims.

In reviewing this site I first have to mention that I have used this web site to attempt to use the online claim form 3 times for different claims and on every occasion it didn't work 2001 2022 and on January 2024 it is hopeless and in spite of mentioning this to operatives of the company on all occasions it still doesn't work. On this occasion I've given the 5 stars for the lady I spoke to two days ago Deborah Morrey after the site failed me again I called and got through to Deborah she told me to submit my claim to her email address and she processed it for me really quickly. A really helpful polite and caring individual well done Deborah and thanks again. Remember after you submit a claim on this site if you don't get email confirmation call them and ask if they have received it because you'll be waiting a long time.

As our previous Health Cash Plan provider decided to close their scheme, my wife and I spent a long time searching online for a suitable alternative. After many let downs we have eventually found and joined UK Healthcare as it provides a very similar level of cover at a very competitive price. I must congratulate the staff, particularly Andrew and Sara for the pleasant, highly competent and very efficient manner in which they have dealt with my enquiries about the scheme, and for the instant help when I experienced problems while making an online application to join. Excellent service all round - which I am sure will reflect the service we will experience in the future.

Recently tried to make a claim, for a consultation and a scan. I did not have a GP referral letter for the consultation as could not see a GP, therefore was told by this company that they could not help me with my claim.It is ludicrous that a private policy relies on NHS documentation as the basis of a claim!! Given that alternative private health care companies do not ask for this! I have since emailed twice to ask advice about claiming funds towards the scan as no small print around this. Only be ignored and not receive a response at all, as a result of what has happened I have cancelled my level one policy and had a response from Sara regarding my now basic level policy (that my employer pays) within less than 2 working days. Clearly, sales and taking money off people is the only aspect this company is interested in. One very disappointed customer, who would not recommend.

I've been trying to make my dental claim for the last few weeks, I sent my receipts by email but then was told they couldn't open them ,wrong format.I have sent by post due to not been able to change format. I feel for the people that aren't good with technology 😕.

Some claims are not paid out as you require a referral letter from your doctor. This is extremely difficult to get from a doctor as they are only seeing patients who require urgent attention. The whole point of private care is to be seen quicker than the NHS, so the system of being referred by a doctor before going private is useless at times. As a result, some benefits are being lost year on year. This is just madness. I can barely see a doctor never mind ask him to do a referral letter for holistic therapies. I know I am not the only person that feels like this. UK Healthcare need to update their policies or loose clients to other Healthcare providers.

I submitted a printed receipt from our optician which gives the company name, address, date and time, receipt number, transaction number and the amount paid. Unfortunately because the receipt just says 'sales' rather than exactly what I was paying for, eg Sight test, my claim will not be processed.
