Recently tried to make a claim, for a consultation and a scan. I did not have a GP referral letter for the consultation as could not see a GP, therefore was told by this company that they could not help me with my claim.It is ludicrous that a private policy relies on NHS documentation as the basis of a claim!! Given that alternative private health care companies do not ask for this! I have since emailed twice to ask advice about claiming funds towards the scan as no small print around this. Only be ignored and not receive a response at all, as a result of what has happened I have cancelled my level one policy and had a response from Sara regarding my now basic level policy (that my employer pays) within less than 2 working days. Clearly, sales and taking money off people is the only aspect this company is interested in. One very disappointed customer, who would not recommend.

I've been trying to make my dental claim for the last few weeks, I sent my receipts by email but then was told they couldn't open them ,wrong format.I have sent by post due to not been able to change format. I feel for the people that aren't good with technology 😕.

Some claims are not paid out as you require a referral letter from your doctor. This is extremely difficult to get from a doctor as they are only seeing patients who require urgent attention. The whole point of private care is to be seen quicker than the NHS, so the system of being referred by a doctor before going private is useless at times. As a result, some benefits are being lost year on year. This is just madness. I can barely see a doctor never mind ask him to do a referral letter for holistic therapies. I know I am not the only person that feels like this. UK Healthcare need to update their policies or loose clients to other Healthcare providers.

I submitted a printed receipt from our optician which gives the company name, address, date and time, receipt number, transaction number and the amount paid. Unfortunately because the receipt just says 'sales' rather than exactly what I was paying for, eg Sight test, my claim will not be processed.

Customer Service Admin Deborah Morrey corrected and processed my payment really fast once it she established why I hadn't yet received my payment. Great work Deborah!

My initial experience with my first claim was difficult to say the least. However I did speak with Deborah Morley who was professional and sorted out my issues. I only wish I had spoken to her initially so I could have given a higher star rating. Thank you Deborah.

My experience is not good. Claiming is very difficult, slow and involves email requests for various ‘proof’ and you need to consistently chase them afterwards. The 3-5 day promise of payment follow my latest email still has not materialised after 7 days of waiting, I wish I’d gone elsewhere for my policy! Too much hassle!

Had a query regarding the website being down. It was explained that I may have had the wrong web address as there are a number of similar ones. A link was e mailed to me immediately, that worked, and also a form was posted out the same day. Excellent service as always - thank you Carl.

Sent an query as I was unsure why my claim was only partially paid. Got a speedy response from Andrew Bevins who explained that my policy renewed on the 4/1 hence the partial payment as it was the remainder that I could claim for the year. Have always had a prompt pay out when I have claimed. Very happy with the service that I have received.
