“winter 2017 my underfloor heating just packed in .. in my garden room where i spend most of my time. I called my usual electrician who basically said 'it's F**ked' i was gutted. It was 12 years old. I was looking for alternative heat sources and wasn't happy with any. So i contacted UFH a national company that would come 'Up North' when they have other call outs. I spoke to Vicky an absolute pleasure to deal with and convinced me they could fix it. I was dubious but went along. The electrician turned up on time (which is a big deal to me) he was polite; professional and even made a fuss of my dogs (which again a big deal to me) within 10 minutes or so he located the problem. I have traventine tiles and was informed beforehand that one would need to be replaced. Within an hour he repaired it and cleared up after him. I was so happy. Worth every penny. Highly recommended. “Having managed to sort out a visit, I just wanted to thank you for organising the visit and also to thank your colleague (very rude of me as he has been twice and I have omitted to check his name – sorry) for his work. He was very helpful, informative and tidy, as well as having sorted out our problem – hopefully as it has been too hot to try. I also appreciate the fact that you have taken the trouble to come out again and to fix the problem, although it would not appear to be the initial problem. You have done that free of charge , which says a lot about your business and willingness to sort out a problem for a customer, so thank you, that is much appreciated. I would have no hesitation in recommending your service. Kind regards”

“Brilliant services was booked in 7.15 so that job could be fixed then I could complete my works in same day.spotted the problem within minutes and fixed in 45 mins jack did a brilliant job no mess what so ever”

“After a disastrous episode with our builder we were left without the newly installed under floor heating working ! And now thanks to the miracle working of the lovely Brad from UFH We now have a safe floor and fully working heating Brad is a credit to your company (and his mum) If I could give this company a thousand stars It still wouldn’t be enough Thank you so much Worth every penny”

“Utmost professionalism from the original contact to the finished job. Doug quicky pinpointed the problem (the bathroom heatmat had been incorrectly fitted and failed after 5 years), lifted the tile without breaking it and effected the repair. We had been dreading a complete floor replacement so this was a real result. He gave advice on how to re-lay the tile and left no mess whatsoever. Thoroughly recommended.”

“Fitted mat did not work, engineer came to house, 1st class service, no mess what so ever, even when having to lift floor tiles. Very impressed with the engineer and the service supplied, wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone. Very satisfied and impressed customer of UFH”

“Brad the engineer rang me 1hr before arrival. Assessed the problem (overheated/burnt out thermostat) and a scratched heating cable. Without any hesitation he dug into the work, clean efficient and communicative. Customer service excellent, helpful and good understanding inc continuously follow up to ensure I understand the costs, what can be done and the steps following the repair. No supprises.”

“I cannot recommend UFH enough! Vicky and Doug were a pleasure to deal with from the off and they fixed a very tricky issues with my underfloor heating that hadn’t been correctly installed (and with very little damage to my floor). A completely positive experience. Thank you!”

“The problem was diagnosed and fixed within one hour. They only had to remove one tile. They made it clear prior to the visit that they might need to remove 1-2 tiles and that it was my responsibility to replace it. I was able to source a replacement tile and now th floor is perfect again.”

“UFH have been fantastic from start to finish. From making initial contact through their website, Discussed the issue with Doug who explained the process. Was extremely lucky to get an appointment as the boys where coming up to Scotland the very next week. The two men where professional, talked me through what they would do, they fixed the problem with minimum mess. A great result, so happy to have my heated floors back in great working order. “UFH exceeded every expectation Our property is part of a 55+ development. Initial bad installation has meant frequent messy repairs and some owners have abandoned their underfloor heating after dealing with various specialist companies. We discovered UFH and cannot recommend this reliable company highly enough. Vicky, friendly and helpful, efficiently arranged appointments. Brad arrived promptly and expertly carried out the repairs. They know their stuff and deliver an excellent service. Do not hesitate to call them!”

“I was recommended to contact UFH by Heat Mat, having discovered that a problem with my bathroom underfloor heating was due to a fault somewhere under the tiled limestone tiled floor. From my initial contact with helpful Vicki ,through to Brad's prompt arrival and professionalism, the process was swift and mess free. What a relief! Brad did far more than he needed to and chipped out a huge amount of the remaining tile adhesive ready for the tiler . Thank you Would certainly recommend you.”
