I just wanted to thank you very much and also to the engineer for resolving my underfloor heating issue. I am very grateful that you all went above and beyond in this matter – it is quite humbling that there are still some companies and people in this world who do reach out to help and are fair minded. Great service. I found UFH via the internet and received a call soon after posting my online inquiry. I'd inherited a non-functioning underfloor heating system in our new home. After a discussion we arranged a mutually convenient date for a visit. I received several updates in the week and day before the visit and the engineers arrived exactly when they said they would. The system was brought back to life in next to no time, the required parts available on the van. We are now looking forward to experiencing a bit of underfloor heating luxury during the coming Winter months. Both engineers were friendly and courteous and took the time to explain what we had and how to use the thermostat. The back office was very efficient too. A first class service all round.

An excellent service from start to finish when dealing with this company from Vicki arranging a suitable call date to Doug the engineer who came out when agreed. He was a real underfloor expert! A qualified electrician with an excellent knowledge of electric underfloors. He came with all of the appropriate gear from electronic equipment, thermal imaging camera to identify the location of the problem to the centimetre to the hand tools which cut into the tiles neatly and without mess. He even brought his own Hoover and used it whilst cutting the tiles to minimise any mess! Throughout diagnosing the problem and the repair he was diligent, conscientious and professional. I would not hesitate in recommending this company to anyone with a similar issue, they filled me with a lot of confidence with their actions. We now have a fully working ensuite floor!

My daughter had finally bought her own flat in London! Imagine our dismay when we found that the underfloor heating in the recently refurbished basement was not working at all... she was extremely worried about how much time, trouble, expense and upheaval this was going to cost! Many thanks to UFH for their prompt and efficient service from start to finish. Vicky was friendly, helpful and efficient on the phone and arranged an engineer's visit within a few days of my enquiry. On the day she kindly gave me at least two updates as to the engineer's progress and estimated arrival time so that I could get to the property in good time without having to stay in all day. Doug duly arrived when expected and was extremely helpful and accommodating, not to mention cheerful and optimistic - diagnosing and fixing the problems, there were two separate faults, within two hours, and with minimal mess! Excellent customer service - I would not hesitate to recommend the company to anyone.

The service has been of the highest quality from first to last. I found UFH via the internet and my telephone enquiry was dealt with in a friendly and informative way and followed promptly with an email setting out terms and conditions etc. The date for a visit was set by mutual agreement and Doug arrived right on time. The fault was quickly pin-pointed and the repair was made efficiently and effectively with the minimum of interference to the household. The underfloor heating system was then fully checked and left in full working order. Doug was most friendly and courteous and tidied up after the repair. A first class service that I will have no hesitation in recommending to the other owners in this development who have similar heating systems.

Brad arrived on time, introduced himself and took his shoes off ........ a good start. He located the problem within minutes and explained everything. Mended and put right. Demonstrated that everything was now working (impressed with the thermal camera). Cleaned up any mess. Very polite and couldn't fault the service. Vicky very helpful in sorting appointment to suit us.

From the very start when I contacted UFH, Vicky was very helpful gathering some basic information regarding the fault in our kitchen and organising a day to make the necessary repairs. Brad was excellent and it was great to meet someone who was extremely knowledgable and identified the main problem within 15 minutes. Once that was fixed, Brad had to find a secondary fault before making good and checking the system worked - which it now does! Throughout, Brad was very professional and really took pride in his work; it was great to meet a real expert. I'm glad I phoned UFH. Brilliant all round!

I was very pleased with the service from UFH. Vicky efficiently sorted a date and time for the repair. Not only did Doug fix my underfloor heating but he also highlighted the reason why it failed in the first place and so fixed that too. I would highly recommend UFH.

I have been struggling to find anyone in Sheffield to deal with my faulty underfloor heating and then came across UFH via the Internet. Brad visited us initially, fixed the faults in the kitchen and diagnosed the problem in the back porch and conservatory. He kept me fully informed throughout the process, left the area tidy and was very personable throughout. We then had a follow up visit a few weeks later to fix the remaining problems - this time we had the excellent Doug who not only was great throughout but was very helpful in resolving the remaining issues. He managed to locate the new probe in the back porch in a way that avoided damaging any tiles and only had to remove two tiles in the conservatory for fixes in two different mats. He also provided some excellence advice in terms of relaying the new tiles. Two excellent technicians who were a credit to their company as was Vicki in the back office who made dealing with UFH very easy - if only all service companies could provide the same level of service!!

Vicky for arranging everything so very efficiently and the wonderful Bradley who found the fault exactly where he thought it was from his readings then meticulously took up the tiles and mended it, with no fuss and no mess! From the first contact with the office a cheerful voice answered. This was Vicky who grasped my problem & arranged a date for the technicians to come. She informed of a date and an expected time of arrival. Vicky said she would confirm on the day an hour before the men were due to arrive, as I would be the second appointment. On the day Vicky, rang as the men were able to come earlier than expected. Doug & Brad arrived with their equipment and systematically checked to identify the fault. They were extremely friendly and efficient throughout their time on the premises. We had underfloor wiring embedded in screed with carpet laid on top. The area was excavated & the repair was made good. The affected area was tidied before the 2 men left. Vicky followed up with a report & photos taken by the technicians the following day. An excellent company to deal with.

After numerous attempts from builder friends, it was very disappointing to realise that this problem with my heated tiled floor looked like it could not be fixed. It was looking like I would have to take the whole limestone floor up and put a new heating system down and then retile the whole kitchen. A big job and a big expense. My one last attempt was to trawl the internet where I came across UFH services. I rang Vicki who was really helpful and supportive and gave me confidence that they would be able to fix the problem for a fraction of the cost of taking up the floor and re tiling it all and of course saving all the mess it would cause. I set up the appointment and Brad came round. He brought in some specialist equipment and assured me that he will find and fix the fault as he has not been beaten yet. Brad firstly checks the thermostat and then connects his equipment and talks through how and what he is doing. Brad is very knowledgeable but is also very personable. It took a while of checking and searching before he felt confident he knew where the break was. Again, being very methodical, Brad finally got one tile up and found the fault. It seems when the floor was initially laid, the builder had broken the cable and made a temp repair which had now finally failed. Brad stated this is the most common failure of these systems. To resolve this, Brad needed some slack in the cable to ensure his joints were fixed correctly to his standard so asked if he could lift another tile which he did. He ended up having to fix three joints which he ensured would never fail again. Brad always ensured he kept the area tidy, used the vacuum throughout the job, swept up and cleaned the area well. He then glued the cables down after drilling trenches for the joints to sit in. Brad then tested the system again, reinstalled the thermostat and again tested this before he went. Brad really is a great credit to your company as he excels professionalism, very personable and really knows his stuff. He was always confident that he would resolve the problem and would ensure, no matter how long it would take, that he would fix this and not only that but ensure it is fixed to his high standards. A fantastic job and both Vicki and Brad really do show what great service is about. You could show many other companies the right way of doing things and I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone. It was a real pleasure dealing with Brad and Vicki. Following the disappointment of realising your heated tiled floor has failed how great it was to find a company that says it can fix it for potentially a fraction of the cost (not to mention the mess) of having a floor ripped up and re-laid. 2 weeks after doing some research on line and discussing the issue with Vicky, enter Brad who very quickly finds a problem and sets about removing the tile over the offending area so he could make the repair. All good so far but unfortunately for Brad not one but two faults and after some carefull investigation he finds the 2nd area.... No extra charge, his job is to leave the heating mat working and that he does, cleaning up and leaving, aside from 2 tiles missing awaiting my input, with all his kit and the utility room clean as he found it. My appreciation to Brad and the team for a job well done.
