Great service, saved us ripping out the entire bathroom floor. They were quick, clean and knowledgeable. Communication was fantastic throughout, I always knew what was going on and the report was comprehensive and everything all working when the installer left. I would highly recommend UFH Services.

Whilst considered to be a little over priced, the outcome was better than expected. From the enquiry regarding the service to be provided to the arrival of the engineer, Bradley, all the timings and promises to keep in touch were adhered to. I would be happy to re-engage them and hope this will not be necessary following the quality completion of the callout.

I am so glad to have been recommended this company to me. From the initial contact to the repair, my experience has been impeccable. My first contact was with Vicky, who was excellent and very helpful. She understood the issue and talked me through the process of what would happen. A lot of the times you get back office staff telling you how amazing their service is and then the execution of the service is poor, but not with Vicky. She clearly knows what she is talking about and gave me assurance there was a high chance they would fix my UFH. She even worked with my tight timescales, moving appointments around to suit me. On the day I was kept updated with Doug's arrival, which was amazing. Doug arrived who asked me questions about the install before starting to ensure that he didn't start an unnecessary job and would save me money. I asked Doug to proceed and he vey quickly identified the issue whilst singing Luck Be A Lady and I certainly needed luck. Doug was efficient, resolved the issue and resurrected my UFH, which I was close to giving up on. I can't fault this company, my only wish was that they did installs and had installed my flooring, as they are trustworthy and are true specialists of electric UFH systems.

I called UFH because I had underfloor heating installed and it wasn't working properly. Doug came over and did a full inspection and advised that our sensor probe was not working correctly. He went above and beyond to replace this for us without extra charge and did an amazing job of explaining every single detail to me of what he was doing and what it meant. He also gave great advice. I would absolutely use them again for their incredible customer service and dedication to fixing the issue

Excellent service from initial contact with Vicky to Doug coming out, finding the damaged cable under the hallway floor. Repairing the fault and leaving all tidy.

From the first communication with Vicky to Doug the engineer leaving us with a working electric underflooring heating system the level of service and communication was excellent. We had been through some building work over a year ago that damaged the existing UFH a repair was done by the electrician and it appeared to be all good but after the self-levelling and Amtico flooring had gone down it never worked. We were left with a very big space with little heating which caused us to purchase an oil-filled electric radiator (£250) while we waited for our builder to make recommendations.. which never came and we were left to our own devices. While the summer came and went and the heating was not needed it was a non-issue but the recent months of cold weather forced an alternative solution. I searched online and being honest UFH repair services are not that easy to find, the first call I made said they could do it but never called back. I then found UFH services and the whole process took less than 3 weeks. From working with Vicky in the office to meeting Doug at our property the level of service and communication was brilliant. Doug quickly established the fault which unbeknown to us was not what we thought, it seems our builders had stuck a nail through the mat in a different location to where we had to repaired previsouly. So that was quickly fixed but the machine showed another issue that pointed to the the repair. Doug fixed that and then made good the floor for our floor to be relayed. After Doug had finished the floor he replaced our thermostat as well with a simple-to-use system to replace our faulty one (LCD damaged). We now have a working system again and have been delighted with UFH and I would without hesitation recommend them to anyone suffering from a faulty electric UFH system.

Excellent service…From initial phone call to fixing the problem. Vicky kept me informed of engineer’s arrival by phone call and text. Brad arrived on time and had the sensor in the thermostat fixed in no time. He also patiently explained to me the settings on the thermostat. Will definitely recommend.

UFH and Doug were superb, genuinely amazing. We had an electric underfloor heating mat under stone tiles which had broken a number of years ago. Doug arrived, located the problem, took up the tile and did the repair. His attention to detail throughout was brilliant. From the moment Doug arrived the equipment and technology he had showed us they were genuine experts in what they do. Would highly recommend. Many thanks!

Excellent effort by Doug who spent several hours locating and repairing the damage in our underfloor heating cable. He was very helpful in that he also explained the issues to the builder who installed it. Unfortunately the cable was far too compromised and beyond repair which will be detailed in the report UFH provide.

Brad arrived on time and was efficient and professional. He was patient with all of our questions and fixed the problem. He also spoke to the underfloor heating manufacturer on our behalf and the repair cost was covered by the manufacturer. Excellent service and we are very impressed.

we had a problem with our electric underfloor after installation, we were facing the reality of lifting expensive tiles to relay the entire cable, i contacted UFH services they couldn't have been more helpful, they arranged to carry out the repair which they did on the said date and although are issue was particularly difficult to find the team found the problem a repaired this for the original quoted amount. Highly recommend , absolutely brilliant service.

When our underfloor heating broke down, we were really feeling gloomy. We feared that a few of our lovely tiles would have to be dug up and we could hardly face the prospect. We set out to find a repairer and discovered that it is a pretty specialist area. There are few if any people doing this apart from UFH. We also discovered that fixing underfloor heating is the builder equivalent of an MRI scan combined with keyhole surgery!!. Unfortunately, the need for specialist equipment can’t be avoided. You need the ability to put power through what might be a dead electrical system and an appropriate heat seeking camera good enough to penetrate floors and tiles. This is a job for those in the know. When we had out quote from Vicky we took a bit of an input of breath – It seemed a lot – particularly as it might involve smashing a couple of our lovely tiles. However, it’s something that needs gritted teeth. After a bit of debate, we went for it. UFH are very efficient. Vicky is a no nonsense lady and tells you exactly what is happening and there is also good stuff on their website. One thing I would suggest to anyone embarking on this journey is to renew the thermostat before calling out repairers. If you are lucky, it is a duff thermostat which is cheap to buy and a diy job to change – It wasn’t the thermostat in our case. Doug the engineer quickly detected the fault– I locked my wife in an outhouse while the tiles were being smashed and lifted!! I thought I might need to call 111 for her at one stage!! The problem turned out to be a breakdown of wiring in 2 places –. The repair took some time and a lot of detailed testing. Once fixed we were pleasantly surprised that in fact it is possible to remove tiles and replace them fairly easily. In our case we had the devil of a job to find a match (we had bought the house with the tiles down) eventually we found a match but the sizes were obsolete, however tilers can cut any tiles so that’s what has been done. In the end it’s fine. This is not a road for the faint hearted, but it is the only way to effect a repair. UFH are the professionals and have the equipment – no brainer to use them. I also have the feeling that if things go wrong in the future UFH are a respectable outfit and will come out and sort it out. I haven’t had to do that yet – but I feel comfortable about it.

Initially I was a bit sceptical about UFH's customer reviews I read when searching on the web for somebody to fix out broken underfloor heating - they seemed a bit too good to be true. But having got in touch with them and seen for myself quite how 5-star their start-to-finish service actually is, I am delighted to join the line of enthusiastic recommenders. Vicky is a pleasure to deal with on the phone -clear, to the point, helpful - and the engineer who came (on time) was brisk, efficient, customer-friendly (and tidy) in getting the problem sorted quickly and without fuss or mess. I highly recommend Vicky and her team.
