“Purchased s/s fixings to fix insulated boards to block walls; don't hold tight so if your boards aren't perfectly flat and wall likewise, stick with dabs. Also, would not hold in turbo blocks; had to use as masonry nails in joints! Wasted my money.”

“Excellent service from the technical helpline, delivery was promised by 10:00 Friday, parcel arrived 09:30, everything as ordered. Product, Helcal CD Ties are easy to install and the building inspector is delighted.”

“I paid £12 for quicker delivery and placed the order for 2 packets of small fixings and a driver head all of which fitted in a A3 padded envelope. The order was placed before 11am on the Friday and it arrived on Monday am. If you do not deliver on Weekends then this is fine, but do not take peoples money for a service that does not give what you expect. There are other companies out there who would deliver next day (despite Friday) for less money. I wont get fooled again!”

“Ordered replacement wall ties ,as a pack including driver and drill bit , all arrived the next day as promised , quality service and quality product .....except the drill bit that came with the ties , this item is of poor quality , broke well before 50 holes were drilled .! Get some decent drill bits !”

“The packaging was totally inadequate for such a toxic product - the plastic can arrived inside a sealed plastic courier envelope and vapour had escaped from the can into the envelope so that I got face full of vapour when I opened it and before I could even read the precautions written on the can.”

“I ordered the "wall ties 20M kit" and they came before the forecast date - well done. The wall ties are easy to install, but there were no instructions. My advice: drill the front brick with a shorter 6mm drill, purchased from Screwifix for C£3, to preserve the sharpness of the provided long drill. Drill the back brick to a depth of 30mm longer than the ties and drill the front brick 20mm deep with an 8mm drill so the driver doesn't get stuck in the brick. The ties are very easy to install and I would buy them again if I needed them.”
